Good and appropriate setlist. I don't know why people think -
festival = rock

If you're going to watch Ayu's set at a festival you're gonna expect and want to listen to her well known songs not an album track from GUILTY or Still Alone . This is not Team Ayu festival tour 2012.

Yeah, I think it's confirmed.

Not too surprising considering she was just in LA last week and had a-nation just a while ago.

As for the setlist and stuff... it was probably assumed to be a bit heavier since the lineup was very edgy and the show was called "Rock'n'Roll Olympic".

^ If that's the setlist, then I'm glad I didn't go. This was Ayu's chance to do a different type of show and appeal to a different audience.

I'm disappointed. I really thought Ayu would do something different for once. (Rock Songs, just the band and her) But this is same old, same old. She could have done another a-nation date, that wouldn't have been any different. :(

The setlist seems like a good way to keep promoting her ASB, so whatever really. I just hope her vocals were good.


EDIT: And she never said anything so, people were just assuming that she was going to perform rock songs, it's not her fault :shrug

Exactly, omg she performs random fan pleasing songs at Countdown live because that's the appropriate audience. IDK why people were hoping was going to go on stage and sing a bunch of songs that 90% of the audience wouldn't know.

Well, Ayu also has released more rockish songs as singles so it's not like people wanted her to sing only obscurish album tracks. And I also believe that putting You & Me in there would also be acceptable since she is obviously still thinks she is promoting ASB. But the rest? Is another a-nation. Well, that's it. No use crying over it. What's done is done.

Why would she perform songs nobody knows outside of her fanbase at a festival that isn't targetted at fans?

It would be an awful idea, she has to play songs that the crowd know.

I don't think people were expecting obscure album tracks exactly (well.... some were) but just... overall a heavier setlist compared to what she would normally do at a-nation.

Besides You & me & Sunrise~LOVE is ALL~ all the other songs have more or less a rock influence ! What did you expect this is not because the show is called rock n roll that all songs interpreted must be dark ! I don't think Momoiro Clover Z is a rock band !
