"Futako Ito," FAKY's first new single in quite a while that Lil' Fang did NOT write, is out:



Apparently it's the theme song for horror movie Ushikubi Mura:



It's the third in a series of loosely connected horror movies called Kyofu no Mura, or "Village of Fear." FAKY's song "The Light" was the theme song for Jyukai Mura, one of the previous movies in the trilogy.

With their February #nofilter concert a well-attended success,

Their first album coming out October 2022,

Taki maturing her image with her latest modeling job for lingerie,

and Hina starring in scripted TV dorama "Mirai Seiki Shibuya,

the gals took a break from YouTube for a few months except to upload some covers.

That break ended yesterday with a new mini-documentary of Hina-chan! Enjoy!

They're also going on a little tour in autumn after doing a lot of promo events since April as well as 5 member produced one-man-lives.

The past week they've released their last single, Choco Fudge.
Choco Fudge was already hinted at at the end of the PV of their last single, Diamond Glitter, in May. Love such tiny details. :laugh





I guess there's one more single and PV coming in September before the album.

I'm glad you posted! I keep meaning to, but I've been so busy.

Things look great for FAKY recently--Queendom's (with Akina and Taki) single was a hit, Choco Fudge reached 1.5 million views in just a week--a first for them--and ranks on Line music, they've had regular concerts, Lil' Fang did a song for a recent anime, and Hina and Taki will do another single for a movie! It's definitely the right moment for the album to drop.

I'm impressed as hell with their producer. FAKY has always had so much talent and yet they couldn't get arrested for such a long time with such poor promotion. Now in just three years (since Girls Gotta Live came out in 2019) they're set up with opportunities that have turned them into a minor but successful and growing group with really good music and plenty of paid endorsements.

Choco Fudge is already at 3 million views!
It is used as promo on youtube, but The Light was as well back then and "just" managed 1,8 million.

I am really happy avex has their back for such a long time already!
They do make strange decisions sometimes like the PV for Chiki Chiki Ban Ban having what feels like zero effort even tho the song already turned into a hit before it was even made. Or maybe that's exactly why.

And I have to say I'm generally not a fan of FAKY's styling most of the time, though I have to admit it makes them easily recognizable and standing out. And it fits to their overall visual image, giving a complete package. :yes

My Story and five+ are new songs.

The album is doing well!

It hit number 10 on the Oricon chart October 19.

Today, 10/24 the album is at #7 while new single 5+ got to #18 and new single My Story is listed as "hot" on Line Music rankings.

The album is at #24 on its first week on the Oricon Chart selling 1,935 copies. This is nice.
They also had a live performance on youtube on Saturday for the debut of the album - it was great, especially the camera work. Sadly they didn't save it.
They announced another one-man-live in Tokyo for March 5th 2023.
And their FC they set up some time ago currently has a project open to fulfill dreams of their fans they can apply with.

They shared on Insta that the archive of the Online live will be available 10/30 08:00 pm to watch on youtube!

That's VERY nice considering their only other release, Unwrapped, only made #75 for 1 week back in 2017 when people were buying more CDs in general.

FAKY's concerts last year were well attended but small with about 100 seats each.

For the new year, they challenged themselves to sell out the 800-seat Liquid Room.
