Gosh, why does she flop so hard, such an amazing artist. Anyway, I came here to ask if anyone have her call me miss tour 2006 in a decent quality. Jpopsuki has an entire tour in 190MB. So my shit has better quality than that (yet is the only thing I found on the internet and downloaded before its gone forever T.T)

Guys, did you know that CK is singing on a very famous French singer (rap) called Nekfeu. The song is called Nekketsu. Here is a very low quality link, if you want the HQ version just ask me I'll upload ! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HzIbpnMxZx4

And completely unrelated but also interesting: I came across this interview where Crystal Kay discusses her background, cultural identity, career, brief stint in the USA... It can get annoying to listen to, since they apparently thought it appropriate to record this with poor equipment in a busy coffee shop, but I really liked hearing her thoughts! I didn't know she was managed by her mom for a long time in her early career, kudos to her mom for doing all that! The way she described the progression of her Japanese career was interesting (she seems to feel like her career was helped along by Hikki and MISIA making r'n'b big in Japan, and she talks about "a more pop-py song" [Koi ni Ochitara, which she doesn't even mention by name, lol] becoming big and kinda altering the course of her career a little). She also talks about her attempt to hit the US music market, and while it's a little sad to listen to her talk about the failure, I think it shows nice maturity and self-reflection that she's able to analyse what went wrong and move on with her life.

I think this album will be worse than Shine. Not that I dislike Shine but it's kinda bland and I despise Sakura and Forever Young.

Sky High 29th March 2018 05:08 PM

Shine was a mess, but still it is nice to see her with new album. But VIVID was my best album from her.

ayumi_croatia 29th March 2018 07:59 PM

She'll never top Call me Miss... and ALL YOURS. These two are masterpieces.

VIVID is really good too

Kacku 29th March 2018 09:37 PM

I don't have the highest hopes for the new album either. The singles in this era have been soooo boring, she really needs to bring it with the new songs.

VIVID >>>>> literally everything else tbh.

hud 29th March 2018 09:50 PM

I still listen to VIVID on a daily basis lol she's never topping that

lovethatkuu&ayu 29th March 2018 10:23 PM

I have to say that interview was both wonderful and intriguing. It's great to hear her express her feelings on her Japanese career. I've always been curious about her feelings being someone who although mixed, visually reads as a Black woman. That alone and her success in a very homogenous country gives her a unique perspective. It's a shame her U.S. career never took off, because vocally she is a beast. She can legit outsing many of these girls dominating the chart right now.

I lean more towards her Sony material, but her Universal Japan songs are fine for the most part.

I stopped following Crystal Kay after Vivid.:(
Not on purpose but somehow I became disconnected from her. It's nice to hear her talk about her career in English.

Pretty as always!

hud 10th April 2018 05:13 PM

gorgeous af

Baco__ 10th April 2018 05:13 PM

Call me miss... And VIVID are really her two best piece of work ever. I can't even start praising her for them.

tokyoxjapanxfan 13th April 2018 04:52 AM

She's so beautiful
I'm excited for new music!

Baco__ 16th April 2018 03:18 PM

can someone tell me why the hell I can't listen to kirakuni officially through Apple Music nor Spotify?

Sky High 17th April 2018 01:57 PM

She looks fantastic! I hope that new song won't be any plain ballad.

hud 23rd April 2018 02:22 AM

song is out but I couldn't find it. I guess no one cares lol

it's nice but I can't believe her sound is so bland these days. she used to make such good music

Baco__ 23rd April 2018 03:08 AM

I thought it's really bland as well. I guess she was slightly successful with nandodemo, right? Maybe she's following that trend. I was so surprised to learn VIVID sold less than shine....

ayumi_croatia 23rd April 2018 03:45 PM

Cute song.
