Wait what? A mini-album? LIKE IN AUGUST?!
What a great news. If I was happy about this era, now I'm exploding into happiness lmao. I wasn't really impressed by Step by Step preview tho, but whatever. It means more music from Ayu and that's good!

And lol at Ayu singing a country song. I don't think it would ever happen, but that would be cute as well XD

Sweet Season was pretty country sounding. Like a Country/Islander mix.

Gustavopc 13th April 2015 01:25 AM

It'd be interesting if the name of the mini was an acronym made out of the initial of the songs names and it formed an actual word

I love Angel's Song, btw. It was the first song of hers I ever heard, and I fell in love immediately. Then I saw the video and became a fan for life.

Angel's song was the first Ayu song I heard as well! Sucked me right in :luv2

Sweet Season was made with a 'country girl' vibe, iirc.

Yeah but the lyrics are actually bearable.

But that's what makes it a country song! XDD J/k. Kinda.

TBH, though, I would pay money for an Ayu country song in which she sings about Alabama and blue jeans and her cheatin' lover.

Some people mentioned how there was a Yukie Nakama version of the PV along with the 'normal' one. Was this said during the tour? I know Yukie sings the song in promotional material for the drama but... hm...

dumbellz 13th April 2015 12:06 PM

imagine there is a hidden track just like in FIVE. The hidden track being ayu version of Diary lol

^Oh God, let's hope!

Looking at the description as translated by CDJapan... it's almost like all the tracks will be upbeat in some way with no ballads.

Hallelujah and thanks heaven.
Up beat ayu is always great.

Step by step is really jpoppy though, I wonder if the others will be more westernized.

I think that PREMIUM SHOWCASE was fantastic in the way that it had no ballads. I really loved that show. I love ayu's ballads but we have mostly them, so sometimes making an up beat break is pretty cool of her.

the more she should include diary as a hidden track hahaha sorry I am a sucker for ayu ballad and I really love diary lyrics

After the ballad-fest that was A ONE, I really friggin hope they're right about the mini album being comprised of upbeat tracks.

If this turns out to be a FIVE 2.0, I'm asking for a BRILLANTE 2.0 as well.

No ballads sounds amazing to me. I hope there's a summer-style song in there somewhere! Like reminiscent of July 1st or fairyland...ahhh I can dream...

Tom Punks 13th April 2015 05:41 PM

"Uplifting songs" doesn't mean much, considering she hasn't really had a "sad" ballad since Tell me why and Together When... before it. It could easily be more "uplifting" ballads in the vein of Anything for You, The GIFT, Walk etc. I'm not going to get my hopes up lol.
