^well, I've got something from Jared (?) last year, too, and it was something from TA. :D

Btw, I just Googled ジャレード and apparently it's a shipping company?

Zutto.. pv is so beautiful. I.ve rewatched it now and I realised I somehow missed the animated ayu parts x...x I can.t explain myself how ))
The frozen part is amazing. One of her best pv moment ever. When I was seeing that ice and coldness, I remembered why I admire ayu so much. Cuz she always takes risks for her work to be done in the best possible way.

As we were talking about dance moves for the last few days, she also did some ballet ones on this pv. Reminds me of the tissue dance. She felt comfortable doing those, so its not impossible for her to dance.

That wasn't her dancing. It was a double.

Delirium-Zer0 9th June 2015 03:56 AM

She had ballet training and yet still needed a body double for her dancing on "Miseinen." I mean... that should really tell you something about what level of natural talent she might have. lol

Andrenekoi 9th June 2015 06:01 AM

Well... Ballet training is something you will need over a decade at least to be any good... I don't think she ever trained it for that long...

Most of the people that are really good dancers at 15, 16 were training since they were on theirs 5 or 6...

I can totally understand any criticism of Daybreak's PV. Like, I even sympathize with it. But, I just love that PV. I can't even explain it.

I just adore HAL's mix of Daybreak. It is so perfect to me. I remember falling in love with the original version of the song and then listening to HAL's mix. I love that I can enjoy both versions equally. :O

If I could try and put into words what I love about that PV.... I think that her wardrobe is so strange. It's not flattering necessarily and the dark make up with it makes her looks like a ghost. And honestly, I totally understand when people say it looks kind of like she's all covered in toilet paper. But, I wouldn't want it any different.

The video is all about the lyrics, at least that's what if feels like to me. It's not about being super flashy but rather it holds this sincerity and heartfelt emotions in it. Her outfit almost makes her seem otherworldly.

axmish87 12th June 2015 08:43 PM

That PV is also my favorite and also I love that version of Daybreak slightly more that one on the album.
Simple yet holds your attention to the very end

chocopockymaster 12th June 2015 11:07 PM

Everything about the Daybreak PV is perfect, idgaf what anyone says

paper_doll 12th June 2015 11:16 PM

Yeah, I like it too. That version of the song is also way better than the album version.

chocopockymaster 13th June 2015 12:03 AM

The two versions feel like completely different songs to me. I love them both in different ways, but Daybreak was my first Ayu CD so HAL's mix and the (amazing, tyvm) mixes on that maxi single will always have a special place in my heart. :heart

Gustavopc 13th June 2015 12:23 AM

... I never watched that PV, I dindn't even know there was another version for the video. Feeling so ashaemd of myself rn oh gosh *opening JPS*

NintendoHTF1242 13th June 2015 12:30 AM

Was listening to the acoustic orchestra version of Endless sorrow from ayu-mi-x 4 and it's so flawless like ??? She needs more acoustic guitar in her music lol

hsienko 13th June 2015 02:30 AM

Colours is such a good mini album I can't believe it took me a year to listen to it.

I thought the remix sounded a lot like Madonna's Drowned World/Substitute for Love so I always preferred the original :P.

i'm glad they're still releasing stuffs for globe. How are they even doing, I miss that group so much.

DonkeyKongRemix 13th June 2015 07:21 AM

Wow, Moments sounds really strange in that commercial to me. Like her voice is just a little off.

But I would totally buy a version of Still Alone like the one in the add.

By the way, I'm excited to see all the positive response to my Daybreak rant! XD It was one of the first songs of hers I listened to. :D

jiarongisme 13th June 2015 09:00 AM

Tbh I never knew people disliked Daybreak until I saw the article that was posted here recently. Or at least felt that that was the point where Ayu stopped being 'Ayu-like'. I've always loved that song. Being it the album or the single version. It's really uplifting.
