Well, I have a slight hearing loss and it's been a while since I listened to as much music as I used to ('cause sometimes it's a little disturbing), I imagine in her case. It's understandable.

I looked up 苦手 in a dictionary, and apparently it means "not good at", but can also mean "not one's cup of tea", which would make more sense

Part of me is like… is she trying to play that whole submissive woman thing that’s so unfortunately expected in Japanese society?

Like, yeah, I’d also eat any of those meats. But if I had to choose I’d most likely pick chicken. If she were given a choice, would she just short circuit? Because I’m guessing that’s not the case and she does in fact have a preference.
