^I actually like Ayu's voice when it becomes deep. These days she uses it a lot in fact.

I actually forgot to comment on her voice, so I don't know where you read that I said it was spectacular. :) I thought her voice sounded a little bit strained actually, but I was expecting that since I thought she sounded strained the night before on Music Station and Music Fighter. Her voice was better when I saw her last year, but at least this means she is a truly live performer whose voice is going to have its ups and downs.

Awww I was hoping for that GORGEOUS "Bold & Delicious" vocals of hers to come out. But what you pointed out was a good point. Can't wait to see this on DVD.

I love it when female singers sing in a deep voice :) Except for Utada - I love it when she sings in a high voice! Anyways, a lot of female singers sing with deep voices and I love it so much more (ie. Hilary Duff in her 2nd album, Hayley One Tree Hill...) :D

Well the performance I saw, won't be the one on the DVD - the DVD is always filmed on the last date of the tour, so maybe her voice will be better by then. She did do well on B&D but a few other songs sounded struggled and she seemed to be getting a little hoarse by the last few songs.

it must be very nice to have the chance to see ayu LIVE <<which seems impossible for me...

but thanks for the review!

Well, the DVD will probably have her most polished-ish performance, as it is for DVD. Plus it'll have direct-from-soundboard audio! <3

:D
