Very weird. But maybe JE is planning something big. Like 2-3 CDs. Though I'm not really a JUMP fan and probably wouldn't get their album, a "normal" release would be kinda disappointing. lol I'm waiting for something like split releases for 7 and BEST or seperate CDs for them.

As for generic, some people say NEWS' music is generic, but JUMPs is even more. They need more "Your Seed"s.

regardless of which I really want them to put out a debut album , if not the point of debuting them so soon & young is already defeated more or less

Generic might be the wrong word. But their songs sound like something other Johnny's could sing, too. Any unit has such songs, though. I know and understand that 50% of JUMP is really young, but they managed to release "Your Seed", so why not stick to such songs?

I feel kinda bad for NEWS. It seems as if they were put together for the volleyball theme, without much concept behind it. Maybe because JE didn't have anyone else to sing the theme? Kanjani8 are Kansai Johnny's, so that's probably why they wouldn't get the theme. And I could imagine that KAT-TUN didn't get it, because of the arguments that were going on between the members. NEWS really feels like a last minute project and now it seems like JE isn't even investing too much into them. Why don't they have a variety show? Don't they want one? I can understand that it's even more work, but the best way to make the bond between the individual members and the members and the viewers grow would be a variety show (it rhymes lol)

you can definitely tell that with a variety show that they host , it will benefit any group . You see the other groups in Johnny's , somehow or another they have at least 1 but oddly enough , NEWS doesn't have it which's so weird

I agree. It's just a shame that NEWS has to release such generic songs :| Their Hoshi wo Mezashite/WeeeeK/Taiyou no Namida era was really cool, but since then their musics are getting worse.

And about HSJ, i think they're in the right way. I mean, they are releasing both child-ish songs and "mature" songs, so both public will be satisfied. Children are a big part of their public, so it's important to make songs for them, i guess. Just as happened with SMAP and Arashi, as they and their fans grow up, their music will be more and more adult-ish(?).

BTW, i like some child-ish songs by them. Star time is such a great song.

i've actually liked all of H!S!J's A-sides...maybe except for "Dreams come true", which i barely play now, lol. "Mayonaka no Shadow Boy" is something KinKi Kids would've released. & i've learned to appreciate "Ultra Music Power" more ever since singing it at Karaoke, LOL. omg, the rap is so cheesy. but fun! "Your Seed" is just catchy! & i agree with TABOO with regards of a sense of direction with H!S!J. they're very young age-wise, so they can build up their fanbase & well as their image as they get older.

but lol yeah....NEWS. i don't blame them, but JE for everything related to them, really. i guess they were made to introduce the new faces of JE since T&T weren't fresh and their debut didn't give the numbers JE wanted (...T&T are the worst selling unit overall. *sadface*). but just the whole overall package was poorly executed. it could've been handled better. honestly, both KAT-TUN & KANJANI8 were ready to debut before them since they are already established. they could've taken their time with NEWS & really promote them as a unit. i mean they just performed once & JE already gave them the green light to debut...

& their promotion is not as great as Arashi, KT. give them some worthy tie-ins!
