the setlist's solid :heart & my Taiwanese friend Cliff had a lot of fun

he went with another friend & he commented to me on MSN that vocally , Koda's the best as compared to ayumi & Namie (who he went for both gigs of theirs when they went to Taiwan to perform)

he also further said that there were some empty seats inside the venue but other than that , he enjoyed the show very much

& Genie , sorry he wasn't able to get the T-shirt for you :weep

From what waterballoon translated, Kuu wants to go to a big stadium in Taiwan (Taipei)next year with her 10th anniversary. I'm sure she will make verything big next year or at least she'll try. :laugh

I think avex was worried on how bad/good Koda will be received in Taiwan , that's why they started small for her outside of Japan , just to test waters & etc

but now that the results have spoken , I hope she's able to perform more outside of Japan now :D

Seriously if both Taiwan concerts are a success, Avex will try to milk her asians fans overseas and in Japan next year. :rolleyes

Well...Kuu uses playback so some of her vocals are covered for her.

Kuu doesn't use playback, she sings live. Or do you mean the recorded parts in some of her choruses? This is called differently I think, I'm not sure. I don't know that much about technially terms. :laugh

Show and Kuu look awesome together. But the sound is really bad.

I think it's still called playback, but at least she doesn't lipsync. But yeah Kuu is a dance singer... a lot of her songs have like overlaying layers of vocals, or ad-libbing on top of the normal vocals, so she usually has to 'sacrifice' singing some parts of the songs... totally understandable imo.

other artistes I know also used Playback too so she's not the 1st & definitely not the last to do this

it's not a bad thing actually especially since she has quite a lot of songs that're upbeat , fast paced & etc , you can't expect her 100% to sing the whole song live in a concert

It does? I always thought playback isn't live singing. But it goes well with Kuu, better than having horrible vocals with dance songs. But her ballads are without.
