Ugh. I hate that I missed these performances you guys are talking about! Any place I can watch them where they haven't been taken down?

Also, where can we see the full Laser Beam PV?

I feel quite sad that JPN sales are lower than the first 2 album had. Anyways, I'm glad they topped the album charts 3 times in a row :heart

I haven't listened to anything on it since the first day I downloaded it.

Just finished going on a quest to download almost everything I could find!

Like I said after triangle- they need to start working with other producers. All of their stuff starts to sound the same after awhile. . . which is odd because capsule & MEG always sound so fresh and different. . .

^ It's the other way around for me...MEG & capsule's songs sound all the same to me & Perfume's always sound fresh & different. I do agree this album could've been stronger, but I also like all of the new songs.

Electro-pop trio Perfume has announced that they have transferred to Universal Music Japan! Additionally, they’ve also revealed that they will be releasing their new single, “Spring of Life“, this spring.

The title track has already been picked up as the CM song for ‘Kirin Chu-hai Hyouketsu‘. For the CM, Perfume held their very first overseas shoot in Los Angeles, California. The CM will broadcast starting on February 29th.

“Spring of Life” described as an upbeat tune that is perfect for this spring season. It will also be distributed in Chaku-Uta form on February 29th.

To coincide with the label transfer, Perfume will officially kick off their activities overseas. For their first project, the girls will release their latest album, “JPN“, on iTunes Stores in 50 countries starting on March 6th.

Additionally, Perfume has launched an official global website for their overseas fans. Through the music and imagery on this site, Perfume will share the talents of Japanese creators throughout the world. The site will be linked with both Facebook and Twitter to build a friendly community for overseas fans.

Furthermore, Perfume has opened up their very own official YouTube channel. Their channel will feature video clips and tv spots, which will be available to 192 countries worldwide.

Whoa there...GOING GLOBAL!? This is quite unbelievable! But I'm really surprised and I wasn't even aware about Perfume's move to Universal Music...

Anyway, I heard this 2 weeks ago on tumblr. But people thought it was just a rumor because... well you know how rumors are on tumblr. But wow! And most of my favorite artists switched to Universal Music Japan. So I hope to hear a lot more of Perfume. :) But I wonder why the switch. Better deal? Seems so... But can't wait to hear the single. :heart

I hope this means we'll get some special releases from Tokuma to commemorate Perfume's time with them. A PV collection would be awesome. :D

I never would have expected that they would leave Tokuma Japan. I thought that label was doing a good job in regards to promoting them. I guess things went on that we as the public were not aware about.

i think JPN is kinda bad...the single tracks save the album, but album tracks is so weak..
