Everybody's saying she won't come to the US because she won't be able to fill the venues, etc. I definitely could see her filling a bigger venue if she's only doing two stops like LA and NY and people from all over are forced to go to them (which is likely to happen if she does come here), but I could also see her doing smaller venues too - and by small, I mean 1500-3000-capacity venues. This is probably a horrible comparison, but that's what JYJ did when they went on their first tour. Granted, that first tour was geared toward the US, but it was a good way for them to "test the waters" so to speak before they went on their bigger worldwide tour later. It was small and cozy, but still had that "concert" feel, like Limited TA Live, which is something I personally would LOVE to see again from Ayu. And since it is A BEST LIVE, it would be her staple songs, stuff we all know by heart, even as international fans. It's not just some random tour.

BEST PERFORMANCE EVER!

i think she could pull of a one date in USA and one in Europe without a problem for around 1000-1500 people venues.

ExodusUK 3rd February 2013 03:28 PM

idk it would be nice if Ayu did some shows around the world but it would be at a loss for Ayu and Avex financially because she could just add 4 more dates to this tour and make more money with less work. It's like asking a 5 star chef to go cook in McDonalds.

Maybe one day Ayu will hold a special small-scale concert for her fans in the U.S. or Europe. Something she would fund herself without too much pushing from avex.

You guys seem to be forgetting that Ayu is a diva :laugh
She requires top notch of every thing (not that this is bad, I'd do it myself) and she has a crew of 50+ people that follow her to her concerts and perform and are both supposed to get paid and have everything covered. (And I'm not just talking about her dancers and stuff, I'm talking about her makeup artists, nail artists, wig fixer, etc etc) -

She also needs to bring her entire rig with her, people who knows how to set that stuff up and rent arenas.

Now imagine this entourage flying all the way to America or Europe for a stadium with 2k people? Not a chance that it won't end up with milions of dollars in loss.

Yet she doesn't need to have all that for her international concerts. She could just take her band with her and do a concert similar to Limited TA Live :thud

Although you shattered my hopes with some hard cold truth, one can dream! :D

Hahaha, sorry :doh
Of course, she could always go on a super intimate concert with just her and maybe just the hair/makeup staff, but then again she could totally perform at a small scene instead of a concert arena. I would so prefer that.

I've never seen Limited TA Live, because all of the streams are so bad quality. Does anyone know how many were allowed on the concert?

I think there were a few dates, the recordings were done in Zepp Tokyo as far as I recall. It's a smaller venue(?), but it seemed packed. You can always purchase A COMPLETE and get it ;)

TeamAyu2004 3rd February 2013 04:31 PM

I could see her doing 1 concert in the US... MAYBE 2... one on the west coast and one of the east... but national travel in america is completely different than the rest of the world. We dont have very good mass transits. Cars and planes are really the only way to travel, and maybe buses (but those are soooo awful) that travel all over the country. It's sad really, but if you are not within a few hours of the venues chances are you wont be able to go.

Capacity of 2.700^^

relmy 3rd February 2013 08:36 PM

I'd much rather an Ayu concert in a small intimate venue, I don't really see the point in going to massive concerts, even if the visuals are big and flashy. It's why I hope she'll come to London - it'll be a small venue, she would never sell out a huge on here.
