I just realized, Namie has been using English in her songs since the beginning and Ayu hasn't, yet when Ayu sings in English, it usually comes out a lot clearer than when Namie does it. This doesn't make sense to me.

Well, it feels like Ayu comes into contact with more English-speaking people and she's often in NY/LA or Europe
And Ayu studied a bit in NY in her early days~

Since she write her own lyrics, so she need to have a better understanding of what English words to use while Namie's Engrish is written by someone else

But recently, it feels like Namie's Engrish has really improved! :) Well, just not that "no supplies" part :laugh

It's kind of cute! She should really be better though. I take her recent improvement as a good sign.

I know this maybe old b/c I've been off the Namie spectrum, but I saw her 20th Anniversary Tour and it was GREAT! What really got to me was how fast she could run in those boots! :D
