I hate to admit it but this is how you pull off a good marketing and a great best album. I'm impressed, hats off to namie. I wish ayu would do something like this.

I think the latest best albums of Ayu wasn't that exceptionnal : no resung songs, no unreleased song (and NO, You & Me doesn't count, because it was overly used past year...). Basically no real new material for fans.
The last real marketing-aggressive BEST were A BEST and A BALLADS.

Besides having A BEST 2 and A COMPLETE remastered, each had its own points.
A BEST 2 having a new song - part of Me which was a new song, a live DVD and its documentary, and like A BEST it featured songs that weren't singles as well. A COMPLETE was a full single collection with a cool box, featured a new single Mirrocle World and had new vocals version for Who... also having a booklet with all her unreleased versions of singles covers up to that, a DVD with unreleased a-nation lives. Except for the fact that best albums usually don't have to offer new things but there's no need to compare or tell anyone to do something like someone else.
You can wish ayu to release an album like namie's Ballada but it's kinda pointless.
Their focal points and marketing teams are very different too. Also, I don't think that namie's thread is a right place for it as well :P
