Agreed. The song almost sounds like a lame regurgitation of Pray.

Pray is sort of a weird comparison for this song. I'd probably peg it as a more uplifting midtempo track like Sweet Season or something.

sometimes you just know from the first couple beats whether you will like the song or not.

if you criticize people for not liking it when the song is not fully out yet , same goes for people who love it immediatly whithout hearing fully than.... (in that kind of logic)

i respect both part and like hearing about both opinions . thats what make a conversation and make you re-think .

everybody have different taste. not everyone can love what ayu does all the time . critics can be good and productive (as long as its not bashing/insulting)
and fans are not saying the song is bad they are just saying they are not to their taste

this song like every other song will have fans who likes it and fans who don't. you can't convert everyone .

and again we are all ayu fans on AHS (or so i assume...)

personally i m an old ayu fan (since her very debut) but when it comes to her new stuff sometimes i love it sometimes i have mix feeling about it because her work keeps constantly changing and evolving compare to the stuff we (old fans) are use to.

again her music and her style changing is not a bad thing , she surprise her fans everytime with new styles however how the fans feel her music will be different for everyone.

i will add sometimes you listen to the song on the cd/mp3 and dont appreciate it that much , than you hear ayu sing it live and will like the song live .

So already a new single that will be released before the new album will come out? And how will this impact the new album release? Will it be pushed back or something?

It's a digital release, so they don't really care about the dates and promotion, apparently it's going to be released next week already, it doesn't affect the album in any way...

I guess I'm one of the few who love the preview. I agree it's not very original, but I like the 'sweetness' and I like the way she sings the chorus.

This song doesn't sound anything like Pray cause I hated that piece of charmin toilet paper and I find this one quite sweet, warm, fun, and enjoyable to listen to (hoping full version lives up to the goods).

The songs simply have nothing in common, but the fact they'll be on the same album.

I say this because generally I'm pretty fixated on how a song sounds and feels to me, and logically I just can't see the similarities because hello new me makes me happy and has a nice melody, where as pray did not. If they sounded alike, I would like both.

Great cover. On another note, doesn't Ayu part her hair on the left side of her head? Unless they just flipped the image to conceal her tattoo. Or perhaps they just airbrushed out her tattoo entirely.
