I like how they cropped out her husband (well, his head I guess) from the pics posted to her official Facebook lol. Four years ago, he would've been all over it lol. But now, it's like they don't want you to immediately know it's him

Her husband has no place in her music career. I don't need him on stage, or in her music videos, I just need to see him in the audience/backstage cheering Ayu on and supporting her while she does her thing. I think they're adorbs together, but--when she was dating Mannie/Maro and had them involved in certain aspects of her career it was disastrous. I'm glad she seems to have taken that to heart.

douggn 20th January 2015 05:33 AM

^ but she also didn't seem to be as in love with manny and maro as she has been with him. Though you probably wont have to worry about him on stage since she has already stated that she keeps her private life and her stage self separate

Pieces_of_SEVEN 20th January 2015 05:43 AM

Seriously. My. God. No.

Aderianu 20th January 2015 07:35 AM

Mannie was hired special for PV shooting (and that's how they met I think)
Maro was a dancer, Ayu often use her dancers in music videos

Ayu just shared some photos, but you already make a drama. Stop_this_shit! Let her share with us

My ticket ordering problem is resolved. If someone made the same mistake, I mean making an application through Japanese TeamAyu lottery site and being unable to pick up the ticket delivered by security mail, the solution is simple: just make new application on English site, it will be the only one that counts. You will pay by credit card and pick up your ticket on the day of concert at TeamAyu booth by showing your passport and digital license. In case if you win of course;-)
Here's the reply of customer service:
“Your previous order from Japanese website still appears in your records but only your last order will go in to the lottery system.
There is no need to cancel your previous order."
So that's what they meant by writing that you can't order from both sites simultaneously: only your latest order is valid whether it was on Japanese or English site.

Though I see it as if ayu want to include her love in her work, than good for her. Who are we to say who she can or cannot be with with her art. Its her art, its herself she represents, its her choice and hers alone

I'm excited about the setlist since this is going to be my first Ayu concert, todays vibe is that I would like to hear talkin' 2 myself and MY ALL :D :)

Don't. Just don't. Please.

not to be rude but if she ever puts her husband in a music video/accompanying vocals/tour dancer

I will lose respect for her as a professional entertainer. I might even stop following her music too. it's a really childish move that reeks of unprofessional-ism to me.

but I know she wouldn't be that stupid to do that :P

Would you REALLY stop listening to her music just for that? O_O

Her music is beyond all that childish movement...

I dunno, but I know it would go against my principles.. or what I believe of her anyways. just imagine you're say an accountant, and you married a man who is a designer. would you get him to come into your company and work just because he's your husband? :)

Pieces_of_SEVEN 22nd January 2015 04:12 PM

I wouldn't stop following her, but I do agree...

Tom Punks 22nd January 2015 04:15 PM

I would also lose a lot of respect for her if she started shoehorning her husband into her releases again. Not because it goes against my principles per se, but because that'd be beyond idiotic considering she's learned by now that shoving her lovers in the public's faces in the past is in large part what led to the self-destruction of her fanbase lol. I don't think she's that stupid. I wouldn't be able to respect her if she was.

And, yeah, it is unprofessional. But to me it's unprofessional in the same way as, say, how she's given Timmy every job under the sun at this point just because they're suddenly BFFs. And how she has her dancers star in her PVs instead of hiring real actors etc.

Aderianu 23rd January 2015 08:11 AM

^maybe it's more cheap to use dancers than real actors =)
and they always was dancers at the video, if I'm not mistaken... except You & Me

What if it's her husband who told her that he's interested in acting or dancing lol~ u know such things do happens but most of us got stucked to sucky jobs and couldn't fulfil our dreams~

Andrenekoi 23rd January 2015 11:04 PM

She uses her dancers on her PVs (and force them to use the same easily recognizible haircut forever) because her dancers play characters on her visual work. It has less to do with lack of professionalism than it has to do with keeping up some continuity and making characters easily recognizible so she doesn't need to reintroduce the characters every time (Shuiya the love interest, Subaru the funny guy, Maro the hot one, Go-mi the weird one, Licco the outgoing, etc.) to her audience.
