Oh dear I'm sorry to hear that . You also have to factor in things like packing of the archive pamphlet and also customs fees which I'm sure you have to pay for which's unfair :x

But despite this , there're other final space goods available or you're only interested in the archive pamphlet ?

EndOfTheWorld 13th August 2018 12:08 PM

Maybe if we are lucky scans of the history book will appear online somewhere. The book is also too expensive for me.:dead2

jiarongisme 13th August 2018 01:53 PM

It'll be nice if someone does it. It's really thick though, you probably won't be able to scan it (properly) without taking it apart

The next alternative is to take photos instead of doing scans cos I think if someone is able to scan the entire archive pamphlet , it might be damaged in the process

I can't scan it, since that would definitely damage the book, but I wouldn't mind taking pictures of the pages. It would take a while to do all 400 pages though lol

I may consider the shipping cost before I place my order. From what I've seen on Tenso the estimated prices they gave did seem to be less than the cost of the book itself (with the book being 7500 yen and the cheapest shipping to UK being 4050 yen) although still expensive.

I've still to submit my ID papers to Tenso but looking at Namie's website https://namieamuro.jp/goods/informat...op/2018-01-05/ I think it's saying I need to register at Namie's site and Ticketboard?

Looks like there's an English version of the Ticketboard site but I still had a couple of questions for anyone who has ordered the book via Namie's site.as it's getting kinda complicated (I now appreciate even more being able to order stuff from YesAsia which such ease haha!).

When registering at Namie's site it asks for the country - am I better just entering my Tenso address here or just put my own address? (I didn't even consider registering at her site initially and was going to enter my Tenso address on checking out)
I can register at the Ticketboard English website but what then? How do my registrations at both websites interact and allow me to order?

Sorry for all the questions, this is definitely a learning curve for me! Ain't gonna lie this is getting a bit stressful - so much to consider when ordering rather than just clicking a button as usual.

I've been looking into this as well, and have similar questions. You don't need to be part of the fan club to order, but you still need to make a free account, right? Also, does it work any different with Tenso when pre-ordering items? I sent them a message about this, but I had a hard time wording it, so they didn't really understand. On the Final Space site for the archive book, it says it won't deliver until after August. So if I were to order it now, would I also have to inform through the Tenso website, or would they just know to ship it to me once it arrives? This question goes for pretty much any pre-order situation as well, not just the book. I'm just worried that by the time it arrives at Tenso, they'll return it or something.

haraiso 14th August 2018 01:58 AM

So, you do not need to be apart of Namie's fanclub to order her goods but you do need to create a free ticketboard account. When creating the ticketboard account, you can use your real address if you want. Or you can put your Tenso address. Doesn't really matter.

When ordering Namie's goods (or when shopping on any site), on the checkout page it will ask you for a shipping address and Japanese phone number too. This is where you put your Tenso information.

Tenso merely acts as a Japanese mailbox that forwards everything to you. They're not a middleman interacting with the company you're ordering from. They're simply there to receive your package, and then forward it to you.

And it doesn't work any differently when you're pre-ordering items. You do not need to inform Tenso that you've ordered something and are expecting a package. They'll receive your goods whenever it is delivered, and process it as they would with any other package that is delivered to them.

So the process will be:
1. Pre-order Namie's goods
2. Goods ship out after August
3. Tenso receives your package
4. Tenso will process the package (usually takes about 1-2 days) and then they will e-mail you that your package has been successfully received and processed.
5. Sign onto Tenso and then select & pay for whatever shipping method you prefer for your package to mailed to you
6. Tenso will then ship out your package

I think this is all? haha. :yes

^ Thank you so much, this is very helpful!! I wanted to get all the info right since unfortunately it becomes more expensive ordering through there, so I don't want to make any mistakes.

No problem! Feel free to ask anything! I'm not an expert, but I'm happy to help based on what I know from my own experiences with Tenso/Namie's site :)

Namie has teamed up with the Okinawa tourism board to front their new campaign Be. Okinawa

https://pbs.twimg.com/media/DkjGdzXUYAQDRLk.jpg

The above poster of Namie will be used for Be. Okinawa from 16th Aug until 16th Sept

Be. Okinawa was started in 2013 by the Okinawa tourism board to promote the prefecture overseas

For this , Namie decides to take part in the Be. Okinawa campaign without any fees paid to her

Lastly , Tempest will be used in the Be. Okinawa promo video as BGM

Nice, I did not realise you could do that! When ordering via Tenso, do you mean I have to use one of the shopping links on their website and then order or do I go straight to Namie's website and then just use my Japanese address. (Just thinking ahead and wondering if I can change the value in this case).

I've always just used the japanese address they give to me directly on any website where I want to buy, never tried any of their shopping links. So yeah, you can change the value for sure

Thank you for your help and detailed post haraiso! Very informative.

My last daft question is once I register at Ticket Board, do I need to use my Ticket Board registration details (username/email & password) when buying the book on Namie's site? (Just wondered how Namie's site knows I am a Ticket Board member).

That Okinawa poster is gorgeous. Love that they're using Tempest too.

Japan will be getting an additional item in the line: a necklace that says "My Hero". Namie wears it in one of the promo pictures.

Some new posters/billboards have popped up for the Finally Tour DVD as well!

I don't know the specifics of it, but I'm just assuming Namie's site connects to ticketboard's servers and they interact with each other to share account details. :yes
