I just checked, Fukuoka is quite a big city. It is the biggest one in Kyushu.
The stadium is also quite big, bigger than Yoyogi, same size than Saitama one, 11 000 seats.

It seems to be a really nice area, I think I will go, I just need to find a cheap hotel for 2 days.

Do you guys already have tickets? You got better to get ticketes before making reservations for sakura house.

I think sakura house apartment are OK for 1 month minimum.
If someone is interested, I have a contact renting his apartment. I don't know if it's still available but PM me for email.

Here is the description of the apartment :
Location :
Sakuradai station on Seibu-Ikebukuro line, 1minute walk
Nerima station on Seibu-Ikebukuro line, 5 minutes walk
To Ikebukuro 8 minutes on the train from Sakuradai station,
To Shinjuku 5 minutes on the train from Ikebukuro,
Or 15 minutes from Nerima station (directly)
Room : 1R mansion (appartement) 26m2
bath, toilet, double bed, TV, microwave oven, washing machine, fridge
Rental fee : \4,000/day

I have been there for 2 weeks, a very good place. Only bad thing is the kitchen, the hot plate(?) doesn't work but there is a microwave. Last bad thing is the location, to go to Shinjuku, there is a norikae(changing line=expensive) at Ikebukuro

I haven't bought tickets to Saitama yet...I'm kinda waiting on someone for a response.

And oro77, I'm staying at the Sakura Hostel, I think its a bit different from Sakura house. The hostel is in Asakusa, http://www.sakura-hostel.co.jp/.

Anyways, can anyone help me?
Why is the starting bid so low for these?

Ok..well my friends don't seem to want to go anymore...anyone want to meet up?

Yoyogi Stadium is the same size, Super Saitama Arena can hold at most 37,000 people, although Ayumi uses the smaller version of it that holds around 17,000 if I remember correctly.

I thought Yoyogi could only contain 7000 people.

12,000 it is.

I also dug up some information about that in case Tokyo will be selected as the host for the 2016 Olympics there will be a 100,000 seat stadium built in the Yoyogi Park, right next to Yoyogi Stadium. Not only will it be one of the largest stadiums in existence, it'll also give Ayu a new challenge ;).

Thank you for the correction.
100,000 is too much, even for Ayu lol.

In fact, in this year tour, Ayu doesn't go to the Yoyogi because of reconstruction?

chocopockymaster 8th February 2007 11:29 AM

Yeah. They're doing construction on Yoyogi to get rid of asbestos that was used during its construction.

is anyone going to Osaka on 5/31?
i got tickets last week. so excited, i want to know if theres any used music shop...or any memorabilia stuff, i never been in Osaka before so i don't know what to do after getting out of the shinkansen

immel 11th February 2007 08:24 PM

Sorry, I can't answer any of your questions, but...

It's amazing how many seem to be going this year, as compared to last year. I hope that the tutorial contributed at least a little :).

Hatix 12th February 2007 01:00 AM

I find it amazing as well :) I just won tickets on yahoo auctions as well for May 9th in Yokohama. I wanted 2 seats together, so I bought them on YAJ.
For the 10th, I'll probably buy some in the reseller shops in the tutorial (and that I saw in november myself). So if anyone else is going on the 9th or 10th, we can meet up and do stuff before or after the concert. Would be cool to have like 4-8 people from so many different countries meeting up in such a far away place :)

delete please

i actually live in Japan for a year now, but i'm leaving in August, i tried to get tickets to Hiroshima concert last year and it didn't worked, then i came on AHO and read the tutorial that you made i was SO mad (you have no idea) because i didn't knew about re-sellers stores in Japan, i missed the last tour and i was sure i was going to miss this one too and go back to Brazil without watching a ayu concert, Osaka is VERY far from me and i i'll have to miss work to make it but it's a once in a lifetime thing.

your tutorial did help me a lot to get the courage to go no matter what happens, it's always nice to hear from someone that made it under any circustances (sp?)....are you going this year immel?

i'm so happy i'm going this year i can't believe, i'm so sure i'm gonna cry during the whole thing

Do you mean AHO or AHS? My tutorial was never posted at AHO, if someone else reposted it there could you please link me to it?

are you going this year immel?
Most likely no.

Well immel, I couldn't have done it without you, SunshineSlayer, and everyone else that has contributed so much!

And yes, it seems like more people than ever are traveling to Japan to see her :love.

Oh one final question, do these ticket reseller shops only accept cash? To me I would never carry more than $100 on me but I guess in Japan it's probably different since they almost only use cash.

immel 13th February 2007 05:27 AM

It depends on the store, I think. I'd say "don't worry about carrying around cash in Tokyo", but it's always good to be careful. It's one of the safest places on earth and it really gives you the feeling it is.

I guess some of them accepts cards, but most likely not all.

What kinda tickets did you end up getting in the end?

For me, suitable tickets so far aren't in good positions. I think/hope that more tickets will come available closer to the time. This would follow the trend of more tickets being available for earlier performances so far.

JinHamasaki 18th February 2007 11:58 PM

When do you show up at the concert? Do you show up about an hour before the doors open so you can look around for stuff?

Yes, 1 hour or 30 minutes, you can buy stuff. But sometimes
some goods are really popular so you may not get everything you want if you are too late.(not enough early)
