Well I'm glad they're beating the 'babes. Denial is so boring :o

I actually liked Denial from the first listen, while Can't Speak French was dull to me until a little before the video debuted. Now I love it more than Denial, but they're both great songs. I'm glad the Girls got top ten AGAIN; that's really impressive.

By the way, I absolutely love Hoxton Heroes. The megaphone effect during the verses, the whole rock vibe, the lyrics, and the chorus' catchy melody are all incredible. It's definitely better than some of the tracks on Tangled Up, so it's too bad it was considered "too controversial" to be on it. I'm glad it was released at all though, so it's hard to complain. Je Ne Parle Pas Français is also incredible. It's so ironic and great to hear the Girls speaking French in the song. I keep hearing that they all pronounce the words horribly, but I wouldn't know since I have no knowledge of French whatsoever. But I've heard people saying Nadine butchered her lines, while Cheryl pronounced hers very well.

Eh, I have a major issue with Can't Speak French. It's that damn line, "I can't speak French, so I'll let the funky music do the talking, talking". I mean, it's, like, edgy enough and stuff, but it certainly does not need to be repeated 4 times during every chorus. It's a line that's supposed to be tucked in a verse, so that after it's been sung, you think "Did I just hear that? :O".

I hope it's "What You Crying For?", but I'm not sure if it can get to the top 10.

i fail to agree. Fling has such Club Banger appeal, and oh god the remixes would kill the dancefloor. Plus i can already see the video.

It's confirmed by Sarah to be Black Jacks apparently. There goes their top ten streak. Oh wells.

A shame. I hope there's at least one good remix of it, but there's plenty of other songs on the album that would make better singles.

"Black Jacks" is one of my favorites from the album, so them releasing it as a single is okiedoke by me. hopefully, they'll give us an amazing single edit.

I love "Damn!" and, actually, I reallyreally like every single track on "Tangled Up," so anything they release will be <3 to me. "Close To Love" or "Girl Overboard," though, would probably do better chart-wise than "Black Jacks."

I'm really not a fan of Black Jacks though, so that really sucks if it's going to be the next single. I would much prefer Girl Overboard or Control of the Knife (which is far too underrated). Actually, come to think of it, Black Jacks is my least favorite track on Tangled Up, largely because of the retarded speaking/chanting part after the chorus. It's just really annoying, and kind of ruins the already dull song for me. Oh well, I still love the Girls.

Mine too. I heard a rumour somewhere, quite a long time ago, that it would be the first single after the album's release. That turned out not to be true, but I would have liked that choice.

The Black Jacks was just a rumor btw - much like COTK was, and ended up being fake. Does anyone else like Fling? I'm addicted to it, I love Sarah's solo parts! Come to think of it, dos Fling sample anything? I swear I heard it on Sky Sports before Tangled Up was released. :eyebrow
