i never thought of it that way. but it really would stink if ayu lost her streak to a stupid unit game show group >_< i mean, if she was against an actual artist and lost then it wouldn't be as bad, because they'd be good competition skill wise, but it'd just be sad if she loses to this group (of which i still don't know how to spell their name...hahaha)

Gosh I just can't help but worry. I read someplace else that someone said "there is nothing wrong with hoping that your favorite artist does well/succeeds" and I agree. Everyone seems to get mad when people get concerned with sales but it's only because we are rooting for Ayu. She deserves it, especially after 10 years in the business and having had the impact that she did. First the album, now the single. Soon the "hardcore" obsessed fans who buy every single so that Ayu will be number will start to care less seeing as she already lost her streak.

I'm starting to think it would be kinda poetic if the 10th anniversary single was her last #1... though, if she gets this top spot, the next ones will be easy, since this one is facing an unexpected threat...

Is anybody else just ready for the next single? I mean I know the Mirrorcle World thing has pretty much just started, but I have a serious thirst for Ayu material. I am honestly looking forward to more than just two singles this year :spinning

Ayu had concerts on 12/4 and 13/4, most fans there bought at least 2 copies. Also, that's weekend, that's why sales increased a lot.

Do you know the difference of buying 10k copies of a single and 10k copies of an album is? And Oricon isn't picture perfect either, like ayu_fan929 has said.

I'm not accusing Avex of anything, but it's a possibility.
