I will definitely be getting her best album!

I think it's time for a compilation album to help revive YUI's career. She's obviously still popular, but her sales have been generally dwindling, and her next studio album - unless she does something fantastically radical, which she probably won't - will probably sell even less than her third. A compilation album would boost sales and possible even have a Namie-effect on her popularity.

WTF?! A NEW ALBUM? Okay, this is too much. I luv YUI but another damn album? I'm not even fully through listening to I Loved Yesterday. :irked Oh, well. I hope it does better than ILY (even tho I haven't paid attention to her post-ILY stuff). :)

@Melon: Nah. I think it's too soon for her to release a best/compilation album. I mean her career is just now booming and i think her fans are up to date on her material. I don't want her to be one for those artists that just release to be releasing. I like for being all about her music. Perhaps after her new album or two years from now.

Her career's not dwindling, but it will be, if the next studio album doesn't sell particularly well. YUI's not selling as well as she used to, and a compilation album will boost her popularity and help her following albums sell more. It's not necessary for her to release a compilation album, but it's a decent marketing gimmick from her management company.

well she does need a break . Maybe after that , the break will do some good for her to refresh her mind & creativity juices ?
