You know...that'd be a really smart marketing move if they ever wanted a sure #1 for any album or single. Make a PV but ONLY release it in the limited editions that would only be sold for 1-2 weeks. That would make people go out and buy them earlier if they were on the fence about buying it. Because then you'd be thinking, "I'm not sure if I want to buy it or not, but I'd only want it if I could get both PVs. Damn, I guess that means I have to buy it now."

Sure, sales would drastically decrease after that, but they'd be extremely high the first week or two. Would also piss off a bunch of fans, though. Haha.

Out of the other three though, Otsuka Ai is really the only one who could be any kind of competition... But her sales lately are really low and her new single is a re-cut so there's really no competition for her either.

Well, I guess it's time to pre-order the CD+DVD now...I'll just wait on the acoustic versions. I really wanted a PV for Sparkle, too...maybe she will release one secretly! XD

Maybe she'll do a Sparkle PV, but it'll only appear on the album's DVD =P

Thanks for sharing! Sure she's going back to normal operations after a busy 10th anniversary - and her 11th is coming in less than three months away...

Can't wait for that single - the song might be hitting some international attention!

I can see it now – the CD+DVD has the video package, ultimately “the best.” The CD with the acoustic version of Days is better than the acoustic version of GREEN, but the CD with the acoustic version of GREEN has a better cover than the CD with the acoustic version of GREEN.

Their only single on top 100 of 2008 (mata ne feat. rufi zoro) sold 46,055 in total.
ayu's singles sell that in 1-2 days.
Looking at those things ayu's state saleswise is excellent at least.

ayu won't have any competition on that week. (Unless if there will be a surprise or something).

practically a month and a half of waiting... a long time for fans, but it doesn't seem like a lot if Avex is going to pump out the publicity. and they better, especially with the DB tie.
