I was disappointed with the whole single to be honest. BALLAD was boring and well, just another ballad by alan. Shiwase no Kane had a pretty arrangement, but alan's performance was boring.

I totally agree with you. For me this single is the worse single that alan released. Ballad is boring as its pv and the covers are not pretty. I really hope her next single will be better.

I agree with you guys. I was worried after she released Hitotsu that she'd just get stuck in a ballad rut and it's pretty much been that way. Some of her ballads are amazing, but overall, they're just too overwhelming in her discography :/

both of them are going in the same direction ie. sounding all ballad-ish from 1 single from another which sucks because I feel both ladies are able to carry off upbeat/peppy songs just as well as their ballads

I think that overall BALLAD is her worst single too, the b-side isn't that good considering it's already been released...for upbeat I consider these to be upbeat:
