so the DVD & Blu-ray for the 1st GANTZ movie was released last week in France & really , why's that the French seems to do things much faster than the Japanese sometimes ? :O

I do agree with some of the comments in that not seeing Shukundai-kun included on the list is an outrage :x

Especially since I feel that axing Shukundai is 1 big mistake as Shiyagare can get really faked at times X.X

AnS was awesome! i wonder why it's not included on this list. maybe because it's not airing anymore? :shrug but either way, i'm glad people still enjoy arashi's shows. :yes

Ninomiya Kazunari chosen as new CM character for “Pocky”

Arashi’s Ninomiya Kazunari has been chosen as the new image character for the chocolate snack, “Pocky“, and will be appearing in their CM starting September 20th. In the CM, Ninomiya dances to hip-hop artist MC Hammer’s signature song, “U Can’t Touch This“.

The CM comes in two versions: ‘Drink & Po’ episode, and ‘ALL’ episode. In the ‘Drink & Po’ episode, Ninomiya appears in black from head-to-toe, along with five backup dancers. He holds one pocky in each hand, and dances while bending his knees. Then, he holds a glass cup and pocky, and uses the pocky as a stir stick as a result of mishearing the lyrics, “Can’t touch this“, as “Chanto aundesu (It matches perfectly)“.

Meanwhile, in the ‘All’ episode, the backup dancers wear 12 different outfits that match each situation, such as ‘New Years’, ‘karaoke’, ’shaved ice’, and ‘beach’. Then, Ninomiya shows that pocky is a great match for various situations.

at the moment, i'm not able to watch dramas, so i'm sorry that i can't watch it, sho! :( i'm kinda looking forward to arashi's new single a bit more anyway, haha. :P one single & one album isn't enough for me for 1 year. :laugh

^ I'm also very curious about the new single! I think a song like "Tokei jikake no umbrella" or "Monster" would go quite well with this drama.
It's a detective drama - as far as I know - so I think something with a mysterious tone would be quite nice! :yes

oh how i would LOVE another "Tokei Jikake no Umbrella" type of song! :inlove a song that's a bit dark, mysterious, and hot would be perfect! :laugh even after releasing songs in that style ("truth", "Monster", and "Lotus") arashi can still make them all sound unique in their own ways. but i think i'll love whatever it comes out to be (so biased :innocent), as long as it's not a ballad, lol. i just don't want a ballad. :P i want a song i can see arashi dance to!

^ Yes, they've some dark songs, but most of their songs are still upbeat or ballads! So whenever we get an awesome darkish song like "truth" :smitten, "Lotus", "Monster",... I'm VERY happy! :yes

that's true! arashi are pop after all! :P but i do love when they do dark songs. i wish they would do it more often for their singles! i feel like their dark songs are more used for album tracks or b-sides, lol. so i hope the next single will be like that! but i guess we'll wait & see! i don't wanna set too high expectations. :yes
