PLAY was one, if not if, her biggest success. I feel like this it is her "Confessions on a Dance Floor" and she doesn't want to make a Heart Candy or a MDNA out of this new album haha it's hard, though. I'd rather give her time.

PLAY has been one of her biggest success indeed in the recent years.
Her biggest successes remain Dancing Diva and Agent J in Asia though, these albums are the peak of her career.
She's been getting more and more recognition worldwide (I'm not talking mainstream audiences here of course) since MUSE though.

Jolin appeared recently in Come Sing With Me S03E01, it's a show airing on Hunan TV which allows regular people to perform on stage with stars.
Almost 6 million people applied to have the opportunity to sing with Jolin, a record for the show !
Hunan TV has added English subs if you are interested in watching.

Jolin recorded a new song yesterday with NESE, PLAY我呸's composer.


Afterwards she attended Namie's concert at Taipei Arena, and offered her a cake (picture of her with Namie):

Jolin said on her Facebook that she was not satisfied with the cake, and even thought 2 days ago to throw it away.
She thanked 皇后陛下 Your Majesty who helped her bake the cake, and finish the part she couldn't finish herself.

She thanked Namie as well: "Thanks to Namie for coming again. I cherish this accidental friendship. I was very happy to be 'attacked' everytime by her smile. I hope she will always smile brightly and her life will continue to be wonderful. I love her".

So we can expect the new album in 2-3 months max?

Unfortunately Jolin's recordings last for several months... And we don't know if she has lyrics for all tracks. Then she has to shoot MVs, get new choreos, packaging ideas and so on. 3 months is impossible IMO... We'll most likely get it at the end of the year.

There is a music video for this song, but no release date yet.

Jolin's new album will be released at the end of the year (album progress right now at 50%), its genre is said to be completely different than 我对我 The Player.
