wtf? yeah, of course, cause a baby can put that face with that outfit... please, context. You are seeing things where there aren't. I think that gesture is sexy and normally people think about blowjobs and NO ABOUT BABYS.

pedronekoi 26th June 2017 02:34 PM

I don't think she looks fat... what I really think is that she always looked too thin and now she have a mature body (more sexy than ever). The only thing that bothers me about her recent tour outfits is the unflatering bust! I can't with some push ups bras she been using on tours. Most of them don't have a organic form and make her bust looks like a big inflatable thing. But still looking good!

and with her height, I think its just a matter of perception :P

I think she looks good, but those angles are just not very flattering. She always looks pretty in the video, though :)

Also, I'm not a huge fan of the short hair...

That's so ...trivial. A lot of artists do stupid stuff that looks terrible and Ayu's one of them. Its expected she has some cringeworthy behaviors like everybody else.

Guess what? Some people don't have anything to eat and people here are talking about how "fat" a thin woman looks. I hope your next comment addresses how trivial that is.

Please, context: Sexism and why women are portrayed and portray themselves in a way that looks childish and mix it with things that are supposed to let you think about blow jobs. It's not as if there isn't a ton of research out there regarding women and their childlike portrayal in the media. Personally I'm worried about people thinking of blow jobs when women make themselves look like little girls by adapting childlike behaviour. If you don't, well, nothing to add here.

And now let's continue talking about how fat she looks.
Anybody else thinks she should go to the gym more often?

xLuna&1LOVE 26th June 2017 10:28 PM

^ on the contrary, Ayu looks amazing! We all know it, she works hard for it. And even if she does not, she never really occured as 'fat.' I think it is really all about the styling.

For example, the chains on the black see-through outfit do not look nice, or edgy but very 'heavy.' It's 'heavy' and added on her body, so it makes her figure look 'heavy' (while in fact, she is NOT!) But I don't think I am saying anything out of line now. Lots of people comment on how beautiful Ayu looks, and it is just too bad that the outfits do not compliment her beauty. It is totally subjective, but not mean at any point. Nobody harasses Ayu for not having a size zero. People just express that it is a pity that Ayu is wearing outfits, that really do not look good on her.

I don't know if this is a response that satisfies you. I really don't want to heat up the discussion.

I would agree with this. It makes me sick how young girls are fetishized in the media. It is concerning if people think of something like blow jobs when someone puts fingers near their mouth.:no
I wish that picture of Ayu didn't exist but it's not an official photo or anything.
And Ayu is certainly not fat. I think she is a bit thicker lately but she still looks healthy. It's okay for someone not to be so skinny.:yes
We shouldn't judge Ayu's body so much. None of us would like it if people constantly were criticizing our face, skin, hair, weight, breasts.

My comment about her being fat was ment ironic. ;)

Sure it's not an official photo. But personally I lost every interest to ever see her live, even though I'm a fan for more than half of my life and will have the chance next year.
Since two or three years this "putting my finger in my mouth to be sexy" thing as well as other childlike "sexy" behaviour became a constant routine of her performing. Even during songs that aren't even sexy and have zero to do with sex she somehow seems to feel the need to prove how "hot" she is.
I always felt that Ayu was able to do the "kawaii sexy" stuff in a very ironic way, like in HLS tour, but it seems she now is serious about it.
I just watched CdM and even though it has a great theme and setlist, it was so bad I wanted to cry. For me the way Ayu performs has totally lost its soul. I don't need her to prove how hot she is, I want her to perform from the bottom of her heart. For me she doesn't do this anymore. It's either her sexualizing and infantilizing herself or it's her fake crying and being a drama queen.
I mean, just compare old performances of A Song for xx, like the one from Dome Tour, with the one from CdM. Back then her body language and the look in her eyes made a very strong impression on me - and now she's throwing herself on the floor for whatever reason like she does in every song that's ment to be "emotional".
I love HLS and also really liked PSC, but after that, for me something changed in the way she performs and presents herself and seeing her newer concerts always makes me wanna cry.

I'm concerned about what you said, but I think this is not the case. I think that is more problematic cute concepts than puting your finger in your lips or tongue. I can't see the resemblance with a baby when the gesture is really different, ayu didn't lick it like babies do. But there are a tons of music videos where girls look innocents and lick ice creams and baby bottles. I can see it like a problem.

I don't think about blowjobs when Ayu does it, I don't think anything more than "she is sexy", but if you are able to see something in this, normally it's not about babies.

Sometimes I can agree with your point, but this time not, sorry, only wanted to clarifice it ^^

Sucking on your fingers is something little cildren and babies normally do. When you look from where this pose Ayu made originated, you will find a ton of pictures of teenage girls dressed up as lolitas licking/sucking on their fingers even dating back to the 70's. It's not as if sucking/licking your finger is a symbol for a blow job since forever, on the contrary.
This little girl pose of sucking/licking your fingers made it through pornculture to the music industry where now every FEMALE popstar seems to have adopted it. And maybe we should ask ourselves why male popstars do not lick their palms to refer in a "sexy" way to oral sex on women. It would look weird as fuck and we would question if they are actually grown up adults or if the got somewhere stuck at the age of 6.
Only because Ayu does not wear a cute pink dress while doing it does not change the origin of this pose and what it actually means.
That you and a lot of other people as well don't recognize anymore what it is and why WOMEN do this all the time shows clearly how normalized the infantilization of women as well as the sexual objectification of "innocence" and girls became - and therefore how pedophile culture became a part of our societies. That should alarm us all, especially when we look at the rates of adult men raping teenage girls.

Ok, thank you for the explanation. I'm going to consider and think about it. I don't want to go off topic, so I don't have more to say, but I agree with you in a lot of things.

Yeah you're right, we shouldn't go off topic. In case you still would like to add something, feel free to pm me. =) I don't want you to feel as if you're not "allowed" to add something, if you know what I mean.^^'
And thank you for reading and thinking about it!

Remember how sexy and coy Ayu looked on the covers of Duty and Loveappears? There were no appendages near her mouth. Before Party queen, the only other sexy instances I can think of were the startin' and sparkle pvs. Personally I'm not a fan of those sort of poses and long for the days when Ayu would inspire and portray confidence without needing them. It was what distinguished her from the other jpop stars.

my name´s Women and 1 LOVE was also pre-Party queen
