The sales is not that bad, but it's highly promoted by Avex. Online broadcasting of talkin'2 myself full PV and radio interviews. I hope the sales will be stable, finally can reach at least 120,000.

While sales are an interesting thing to note, it's quite entertaining how everyone becomes these research analysts when the sales figures are displayed. So what if she sold less than glitter (which doesn't make sense since that single blew major :P), she's gonna continue no matter how her sales are looking. Ayu's here to stay regardless, and after all these years, she's still selling better than so many others.

She's pretty close to YUI's My Generation/Understand.

My Generation/Understand (after 3 days) = 14620 + 11975 + 4670 (x1.75) = 54,714
My Generation/Understand 1st week = 79,277

So ~75k might be the 1st week sales.

I woldn't say the sales are bad. I mean, look at the chart... everybody's sales has decreased in these past years. Poeple are buying online versions of the songs, downloading them. It's a trend. I don't believe in 1milion sale singles anymore.

Besides that I agree with most of you guys, Ayu is not the same she used to be. She's saturated... she needs something different to come to the spot once more. Japanese want something fresher, younger. ie: leah dizon... I hate her, she can't do much but pose for pics, her voice is weak and her songs are so NORMAL. Let's face the fact that she's a freshman, just entered to the music scenary and is alredy at oricon charts. She's doing well because she's young, fresh and beautiful.

To make things short, T2M has so far a expected sale. It'll make weekly #1. (or not? well.. #2)

And Leah Dizon's singles and albums sales are lower than ayu's poker face single sales ^_^.

^ Well lately unless you got a lot of hotties in the boyband or else the single has a good tie-in with a popular dorama like Hikki's FoL you need to be lucky to have some of your artists sell more than 200k.

Not all stores can keep count of the selling. Sometimes they make up numbers just to have it over with so that's why I don't trust the Oricon Charts.

I wouldn't go that far. I'd say that 100k is the new 300k and 200k is the new 600k. [not by 2005 standards, by 2000-2002 standards]
