I'm glad the single's selling really well. For such a young group, they're really holding their own.
It's been estimated that HSJ has already sold 900,000 copies of CDs and DVDs since they debuted. And it hasn't even been an entire year yet since then~ |
their second day sales are pretty amazing. most of their sempais drop like rocks on the 2nd day! awesome job H!S!J! :)
i'm glad they're doing well! |

I wonder when we'll be getting that debut album...soon I hope, along with NEWS...
|
for me I'm surprised that HSJ's under J Storm aka they're label mates with ARASHI .
I thought they might be under a different record label or something |
J-Storm is Johnny's Ent owned. TOKIO's gonna be making a move to J-Storm also. KAT-TUN's under J-Storm too, but they got their own record label within it (J-ONE Records).
so, having a JE unit within a record label is pretty common. there's also the Johnny's Entertainment record label w/ KinKi Kids, NEWS, & Shounentai. V6 & T&T are under avex trax surprisingly. (SMAP & K8 are the only ones in different labels (Victor & Teichiku)). |
^Ya, I was just going to say that.
Basically, even if they're all on different or the same record label, they're all still under one talent agency. So even if their labelmates or not, they're still Johnny's. Plus I bet Chinen's happy being a labelmate with Ohno~ :heart (OT: Irene, is Shounentai still active? D:) |

I'm enlightened already :roflmao Not to nit pick J Storm or any labels but I realise those PVs that were released though J Storm , they looked expensive unlike the ones that were put out by JE (record label) & also I feel Tackey & Tsubasa's PVs are not really that high in budget |
yah, Shounentai's still active. they don't release music, but they do musicals and other things. Uchi & Kusano did their "trainee" work with them. :)
YUP. they're still Johnny's Ent boys, so it doesn't really matter if they all got different record labels. record labels don't really mean much, it's just the management that you're affiliated with matters. LOL. Chinen is one step closer with Ohno. EDIT: really? i think T&T's PVs are quite high budget! "Kamen"? "Ho! Summer"? |

I don't really see the PVs for both songs are quite high in budget . Ok maybe for Ho ! Summer but not sure for Kamen :no anyway ... so far what's HSJ's highest 1st week sales for a single ? UMP ? Sorry I'm still a HSJ greenhorn :laugh EDIT -- they're gonna perform at MS later on tonight in Japan . I wonder whether will they do Bouken Rider ? |
"Kamen" had good lighting though. i didn't think it was NEWS PVs inexpensive. i mean, there weren't any pyrotechnics or flames or anything, it was simple. but it did have FINGERPAINTS! 8D
yeah, i think UMP's their best-selling single so far and best 1st week. usually a Johnny's group debut single is their best-selling one. generally. |
The Kamen PV's freaky with the paint & masks going on , I couldn't sleep well for days after I saw it :S
I like UMP , it's really catchy & the PV's entertaining to watch too . HSJ's so big , are you sure that there're no boyfights among the guys at all :laugh |
awww the hey! say! boys were singing songs from arashi, KT, and kanjani8 :P

and there's the drop :(
x->1 -> 1 -> 1 - Hey! Say! JUMP - 36,154 + 28,193 + 8,957 (x1.75) = 128,282 |
aw cheer up Kevin , at least they're still tops although I must admit to see 28K + being decreased to 8K + within a day's a bit worrying

But as you said, hopefully the MS performance will boost sales Come on boys! You can do it!!!! :yes |
|
i figured they'd do a medley, since when KAT-TUN went on 3 time, the last time was a medley too. :P
