今後のナビゲーター役の抱負を聞かれたPerfumeの3人。のっちは「初めての番組ナビゲーターなので頑張ります。ゲストさんが楽しんで帰ってくれるようなお喋りができればいいなと思います」と笑顔で語り、あ～ちゃんは「司会という大きな役をいただいてすごくうれしいです。Perfumeはゲストさんを引き立てるトークができなくて、ラジオにもゲストさんを呼べないので（笑）、こういう大きな機会に麻里さんの背中を見ながら勉強していきたいです」と向上心を見せる。さらにかしゆかも「ゲストさんを呼んで話を聞くというのは初めてです。いろいろな人にご迷惑をかけてしまうかもしれませんが、たくさんのことを身につけて覚えていきたいです」と語り、3人それぞれにナビゲーター役としての強い意志を表明した。
また、水樹は「MUSIC JAPANのナレーターとして参加できるのがすごく嬉しいです。魂込めて、熱いナレーションで紹介していきたいです」と笑顔と美声で語り、「私自身も歌を歌っているので、いろんなアーティストさんに触れられるのも楽しみです」と、歌手としての表情も見せた。
また、これから会ってみたいアーティストを尋ねられると、のっちは「音楽番組に出てもなかなか他のアーティストさんとお話をする機会がないんです。この間SPEEDさんと共演したんですけど、ほとんどお話できなかったので、ぜひお会いして話がしたいです」と、憧れの先輩への思いをアピールした。

Will it affect their music careers negatively?

^ The hosting gig shouldn't keep them from doing what they'd normally do i think.

Perfume won't have any trouble performing on Music Japan.

I don't like this. I don't like when celebrities over expose themselves. I want them to just do their music. You lose that mystique when you're on television on a regular basis. Prime example: Tyra Banks. She not only lost her appeal, she got crazy and now is a joke.

Plus they just have never demonstrated a domineering enough personality to be able to take charge and host something. Hopefully it's like a one time thing.

I think it'll be okay for them, in the end.
It might win them more sales for their albums and singles, being on TV more often and promoting their stuff.

off topic... i just listened to Aira Mitsuki's China Discotica. i haven't listened to that song for ages... so anyway, right down the middle of the song, there were instrumental parts that was very reminiscent of a recent song i've heard. i thought it was from Ayu's NEXT LEVEL... but i just realized that it was the exact same ending instrumental that was played on One Room Disco. hahaha.

i think that's the only song that i like from Aira, hahaha... but give her a try, you might like her.

Plastic Baby and some other song. I think it was called Plastic Baby, not too sure.

I guess I will youtube that Mitsuki song you mentioned, and see the similarity between the instrumental part and perfume's song, lol.

the only song i heard from aira was the song that had "plastic" in it, too. :laugh i can't remember the song title, though. but it was very catchy :P

And I heard that China Discotica song that jeff mentioned. It has "plastic, fantastic" in lyrics. xD

YES! the plastic fantastic song (china discotica) is what i've heard! :laugh i saw the PV for that last year, i think. maybe i should actually consider following aira's music, haha. but i dunno, it's kinda a bit too techno for me :P

lol i honestly don't feel that nakata's music is "too much", you know? and i used to HATE techno before, haha. but maybe i'll still give aira a try. she's not that bad if i just listen to her more.

anyway, since we're in perfume's thread....let's get back to them :laugh but i dunno what to talk about :tipsy
