Hi, I was at a-nation 8/1 and I must say it was way better than her concert tour. PERFECT vocals, very very powerful! Great song selection (A Song for xx, BLUE BIRD, TO BE -- omg! <333). The whole audience was energetic and jumping and screaming! Very very good performance. Also, no lip syncing this time! :D

She is indeed thin but for some people she has been better. Given her stature I think she is more beautiful when she is very thin (even in 2001 when she was "too" thin, even a bit unhealthy, she looked really great). Yet everyone's mind is different as regards what's beautiful and what's not...

^Good to hear she sounded great!

I'm glad you liked it ^__^ thank you very much for the info!!

ayu's vocals <3

Definitely needs better clothing and hair choices. I'm usually proud of what she puts out, but at least the vocals have been good.

RPGames 3rd August 2009 08:35 PM

^_^

Hm, I don't wish to sound fanatic, but her hair and outfits looked impressive in real life to me. The BLUE BIRD dress was very sparkly and pretty, and her large Rule/A Song for xx hair looked very cool.

ayumisrael 3rd August 2009 08:38 PM

Yeah I really liked the new hairystyle ayu tried with the rockish outfits.

Someone here said it reminds of Peco, I agree positively :laugh
The dress looked classy and I love the encore outfit too, it's cute with the summer logo.
I also noticed she wears gloves along with the hat so it went out really cute eventually as it seems.

As usual, it's one of those had-to-be-there setlists, haha.

It should look better in motion.

How warped, haha.

Its more that she is really wearing outfits here that exentuate her lack of hips and waist. (especially the black onepiece and blue two piece) However, in 2003-2005 it seemed she was really in slim fit shape because I remember her waist looking awesome then.

Ayumiko 3rd August 2009 08:44 PM

The hairstyle is not that new...just my name's women with bangs...but I love it though. :D

ayumisrael 3rd August 2009 08:50 PM

Well yeah it's just longer and fuller.
Looks sexy ;)

njanjayrp 3rd August 2009 09:16 PM

Thanks RPGames~ Glad she sounds great! The costumes are ok. I think her bangs look weird but it doesn't really matter :)

Cool! Thanks for the report :D.

The 'rule' outfit looks awesome with her hair down! I think all the outfits look really good, and so does her hair! And it's good to know that her voice sounded good as well! :)

I feel as though these candid photos make her look bad. The a-nation '05 candids are pretty bad imo too and she looked hot in that outfit.. -sigh-.

for "TO BE" was she doing that fake 'sad' acting again? from the pictures it looks like that :(

zyoeru 3rd August 2009 10:19 PM

identity: I noticed this too...she doesn't need to TO BE is a happy song. :|

Yea it reminds me a lot of her 2000-ish hair. I don't think the outfits are bad at all, though the mermaid one isn't all that great.

i really dislike it and it's unnecessary. and i hope she isn't "reaching for shuya" again. :no

i'm glad to hear that her vocals are good, i hope she keeps it up!

zyoeru 3rd August 2009 10:25 PM

God yeah. I want more of Maroka. Shu-ya isn't liked any more. :(

I think I'm kind of disappointed Shu-ya is going to be dancing for TO BE...it doesn't need choreography. XD
