I would really feel bad for whoever got that lyrics sheet then since it'd have like 4 sentences....

murasakinohana 17th March 2010 05:31 AM

OMG!! I just realized there's 'Jump!' in there! I was lying on bed last night and was wondering to myself, what if one of the new song titles was Jump... :shakehead

Polyrhythm 17th March 2010 05:31 AM

Whoa. For the record people, I didn't say I wasn't going to buy the album just because I don't like some of the track names. I said that's what finalizes it for me. The track names, in addition to the title of the album and the covers...and the price just already make me not feel like buying it. I'm sure there are great songs on it. I've heard the preview and I like them >_<. It's just overall I don't feel like I want to buy it. That's all....I'm sure it will be another nicely produced, cohesive album from Ayu....and I'm sure it will go on to sell an insane number of copies. It's just not for me. I don't hate Ayu ><. I've spent 70% of my high school savings on her releases. I just had an opinion and I don't think I should be expected to buy the album for any reason. And if you love how the album is going and will buy it, that's great. More power to Ayu.

Aozora 17th March 2010 05:32 AM

I agree with everyone who spoke about Ayu's diversity xD. My favorite albums are those that offer a little something for everyone's tastes. I honestly think the album will definitely have this. We already know it has ballads (Sunset, BALLAD, You were..., Don't look back). We know it has rock (Microphone). And titles like Sexy little things and Lady Dynamite make me think of my name's WOMEN-like songs <3. Or like someone else suggested, electropop. I'm definitely up for a new Sparkle if that's the direction they're in :D.

Basically, I think this album will have a little something for everyone :).

Ahh I thought each of the 12 special CDs had all 12 lyric sheets. So its just one sheet for one song per CD?

so if the ratio is:
5 single songs
4 interludes (one with lyrics)
6 new songs

its basically like NEXT LEVEL with an extra single song, but re-recorded.

^exactly, one song per algum, total, 12 albums with sheets... = 12 songs with lyrics... that's why I think there will be 12 full songs... I don't see someone having a short sheet with 6-8 lines for THE introduction LOL

LOL XD

well yeah... I'm sure we won't get anything thinking of how the songs are gonna be just from the titles...

Akutenshi 17th March 2010 05:34 AM

I'm honestly a bit tired of all the interludes she's been doing. I know it's a few albums in already, but I just can't get used to it. Hopefully she just makes A INTERLUDE next, and then puts this habit to rest. </3

Tony G 17th March 2010 05:35 AM

I like her interludes, they do a good job of breaking up the album. I'd prefer to have them there than just 11 tracks with nothing in-between. And if the last album is anything to go by, her 'ludes are getting better and better. Especially the CMJK ones. disco-muncation for best song on NEXT LEVEL anyone?!

I agree with this xD. But only because I'd rather have her sing more. I LOVE her interludes though so I guess I can't complain. I'd just rather have... more lyric songs too. I'm greedy xD.

Akutenshi 17th March 2010 05:36 AM

I guess I just get sad that these interludes could have made fierce full-length songs. Like, sure Ayu, have 4 instrumental/interlude tracks, but have 14 full-length tracks as well. I'd certainly welcome an 18-track album. xD

maze 17th March 2010 05:51 AM

I'm more interested in hearing the songs that are getting PV :heart
and I hope the don't ruin RED LINE. xDD

Its entirely possible. Bridge to the sky, Mirror and Not Yet all had their lyrics printed in the album book. And since this is just a little bonus, nobody would be "robbed" by getting the interlude's lyrics.

Albums are getting shorter and shorter over time, doesn't surprise me hers are decreasing to 11-12 full tracks. Still, the albums are over 50 minutes long, which is above average. Usually pop albums are short, between 40-50 minutes long, sometimes shorter.

Actually, overall pop albums are getting longer on albums. Back in the day, 13 full tracks was generally considered by critics to be "Far too long", while now Britney Spears is releasing 19-track LPs and Kelly Clarkson is going for 17 tracks. It's just that Ayu's albums were long in a time when short was the standard, and now she's releasing short albums when long is the standard.

truehappiness 17th March 2010 06:11 AM

Bridge to the sky's lyrics were not printed in the booklet. The lyrics were basically from NEXT LEVEL anyway. [Fui ni namida, fui ni egao, etc...]

Ayu's longest album [I think] is MY STORY clocking in at around 76 minutes?

Only Mirror's lyrics were printed, Not Yet and Bridge to the sky were not.. :shakehead

Agreed.

If people love her diversity in music, well, they better love the interludes too, they're the ones making a nice smooth transition most of the time, unlike pieces of SEVEN. :headache

I say Load of the SHUGYO is the best though :P

everlastingRAINBOW 17th March 2010 06:22 AM

I gotta say I love her interludes too. They make the album flow and make it an experience. He albums would be way too choppy and more mediocre without them!

truehappiness 17th March 2010 06:28 AM

With Ayu's interludes, I like to think of them as snacks between meals, haha.

Delicious aural snacks between aural meals....

-drools-

Zeke. 17th March 2010 06:36 AM

I loved NEXT LEVEL's interludes. Probably more memorable and enjoyable than most of the songs on the album to me (EnergizE and identity were the only album-only tracks I liked).
