Utada might have a higher priority there because Utada's going on hiatus at the end of this year, while miwa's only a rookie in her professional career! Maybe miwa could have a spring tour, sometime in April or May, depending on her school schedule...
|
^ miwa needs to release an album first before preparing a new concert.
I keep an eye for miwa dayo, just wait~ EDITED: By the way I found this message in the website about DoCoMo thingy and the new song perhaps. (http://55gokaku.com/pc/board/detail.php?thread_id=1) If you check the first post, miwa written on it, so it's her message? Quote:

I see, thanks again tenshi :D
Since the username written miwa, I thought she herself wrote the message, since the video is there. So, 10 more minutes to miwa dayo! |
Do we have any updates?
|
I got small amount of info~
I heard she added Otoshimono as an encore song, and the rest is all the same, from the person who came to miwa yade. No photos yet about the concert. |
Spoiler:
Okay, so I've heard ikimono-gakari's going on hiatus soon, so how about this: During her hiatus, maybe sometime in March she could be releasing a new album? I heard that there's going to be a new album soon: it's going to be called "441", and it is named after one of miwa's old songs, and there's some things that are going to be in. Obviously, this song is going to be remastered and "modernized" for the March 9, 2011 (tentative) release date, and it might contain the song that is part of that NTT docomo project-thingy (that college thing), and maybe more... But right now, it's only a rumor/speculation...if anybody can find verifiable sources to verify information, please let us know. But in any case, I think it's time for a new album - four single's already enough for an album! |
^ It's from 2ch, I read that too.
However, don't forget she's also releasing a new song (which will become an album track or new single, still no info) next year. If...
What I want actually is she releasing new album ASAP in CD+DVD format. |
I want a CD+DVD album with all her PVs.
I hope is true |
^ I would assume the DVD of her next album will have all her PV's (unless she decides to not include any of them).
|
I also hope don't cry anymore PV is there, since no DVD for that single...
I want making of too XD Okay, time to rejoice everyone, this is the setlist of the concert : SET LIST 01. リトルガール 02. you can do it! 03. あなたがいないと世界はこんなにつまらない 04. めぐろ川 05. ウソつき 06. don't cry anymore 07. あまやどり 08. 青空 09. 僕が僕であるために 10. 441 11. 441 is a real song then, |
Thanks for sharing! Maybe can't wait for the modernized 441 next spring!
|
441 described as a pop-rock song that kinda similar with chAngE, I believe it's pretty good XD
Also, I found a long interview : http://blog.uta-net.com/miwa/ Soooo curious, it's killing me, maybe tenshi can help :P |
Whaa, hi! I can't believe I've only just discovered her songs.
Don't cry anymore is one of the most gorgeous songs I've ever heard, it's come into my life at just the right time. It's perfectly bittersweet, a good song to cry too but it's so uplifting too. ;__;~ I hope she releases an album soon, I'll pre-order it straight away! |
Have you try the piano version of don't cry anymore then? It's a pure bliss~
No info yet about new album, but she already releasing 4 singles, the next one maybe an album... |
So, I sort of discovered that "don't cry anymore" changed my life :) So I think miwa is one of my top favorites atm <33
|
she is one of my favourites solo artists too along with YUI

-Otoshimono was already an older song of hers, but the drama's staff heard it and liked it (and chose it) -Otoshimono already had the theme 'wanting to bring back the importance of things you've lost', but she combined it with the theme 'wanting to save animals' lives + not wanting to give up' after she read the script. -About the 1st theme (='wanting to bring back the importance of things you've lost'): after her debut, when she was drowning in work, she lost sight of herself and couldn't be sympathetic to others. She realized she was growing distant from her friends. She learned not to take things for granted. -While she writes about personal weakness for the first time, she also added messages of courage in the lyrics. -She can play the piano. -She loves ballads, and made a lot of them before her debut. -Otoshimono has gotten good responses (which makes her happy). -She wants listeners to realize that the important things are fragile and transient. Don't take them for granted. -Usotsuki's lyrics are based on personal experience. -(usotsuki means 'liar') The lair in the lyrics is both herself who pretends to be tough and doesn't share her true feelings, but is also the other person who pretends not to know. -She prefers mail over (telephone) calling, because it's quicker. It's handy when you're busy but want to stay in touch. -She added the piano version of don't cry anymore, because she wanted to show how much she's grown since her debut. And because she sang the piano version live before and got good responses. -She often reads books and manga for inspiration. She's also written sings while reading fan letters. -She always writes with an 'ink pen', and not with a ball-point pen. -Makihara and Matsutouya Yumi have influenced her lyrics. -It's really difficult for her to combine university and work during exam weeks. -She has friends at the university from before her debut. Some of her songs were born out their girl's talk. -She wants to perform at JCB Hall one day (because she saw Sheryl Crow perform there). |
