What do you mean by that?

I bought a very good speaker and listened to lots of different music on Spotify. And then I wanted to hear what Ayu's music sounded like with good speakers... I got so disappointed when listening to album after album and heard that most of her albums were so flat... I'll continue listening to her music via my laptop or headphones. Or I'll just be sad.

I mean things like having a relationship through social media, but then being all "Please, respect our privacy" when the divorce happened.
I really hope whoever will be her lover, he won't appear in PVs and we don't have to look at them being all lovey-dovey during Making ofs.

Another thing, I recently read that she didn't take singing classes between her debut era and POWER of MUSIC. That is quite shocking. For someone to whom music is life I'd think she would care about her voice more.

Really?! Who would say? She was getting better and better. Especially from 2004 to 2006.

She didn’t have formal training and would do a lot of things that hindered her voice, like drinking/smoking. People say that her hearing was what caused the decline in her vocals, but i think her technique and bad habits were mostly responsible.

^I think it's a mix of many things. Singing in a too high voice, singing despite sickness, oversinging (she tours every year since like 2000), getting older and likely not caring about her voice properly.

I don't know what was it, but the voice from 1998 and the one from 2008 sounds like it is from a completely different person, the one from now sounds quite different but not that dramatically. And tbh, I still love her 2008 vocals the most.
