Like I said...it's like those people on youtube, who do covers, and they push their voice into this certain role to get the notes out...and it's very unnatural.


We KNOW he can sing...I guess he just decided on that style, but, it's not for me.

He's better off just giving songs to Ayu. Both Brillante and HBYA are great songs and he'll probably make more money through giving songs to Ayu then he will as a solo indie artist.

It's not lack of talent, just that his style is only good for theatre and the Jpop tracks are totally the wrong direction. BRILLANTE was a good track, he's clearly got musical talent. Singing Jpop is not how he should use it though.

I'll admit I don't like Timmy. Between his annoying outfits and drunk tweets I don't care for him in any way other than being Ayu's composer.

I feel the same. Actually, I only like Brilliante, so I guess I like him even less than you. And there is nothing wrong with disliking him.

Lol when I first got into ayu I thought her vibrato was so obnoxious sometimes, so it's ironic and funny that fans are saying that Timmy has too much. And someone said he's nasally. Lol.

I mean, ayu's voice is whack sometimes and I'm used to it lol.

I think Timmy sounds fine.

Rather hear him sing other things though.

Honestly, I hesitated to post those videos about Timmy because a lot of talks about him turned into bad way. You can dislike someone but bash that person just because you don't like him, is awful & sad.:(

actually i dunno why people say Ayu has too much vibrato she pretty much has a normal amount of it, it can be pretty bad like it was in GREEN..>_> there's a different amout of it and it sounds different too. You can hear Timmy's in almost every single word he sings lol Ayu's nasal voice has dissapeared complitelly now, she used to have that a lot in her first couple of albums that i absolutelly cannot listen to. maybe it's just me. But with Timmy's voice is "too much" of everythign to me. lol

Haha, is it strange that I used to listen to Ayumi Hamasaki for her nasally, screechy voice? I love voices that are imperfect, though. They can be very exciting!

I understand why some people don't like that kind of style, but I personally am a pretty big fan. :laugh

I believe I mentioned something about him being nasally. I'm not saying that it's a bad thing!! ^^; Ayu's slight nasally sound is part of her charm.

Personnaly I don't have problem with the vibratos I adore singers with prominent vibrato

In this song her vibrato is over exaggerated but wow I love it ! one of my favorite song =)

Next Level album has an overall emphasis on her vibrato voice and i like it because of that
It's still her weakest album but few songs and even the interludes do the album justice
