Sorry, I don't like Eh Yo. But I'm also not a fan of Dreaming Now

melissalove 26th June 2019 11:28 PM

I’m loving this performance, she sounds amazing and looks gorgeous. New summer jam!!

kaled kalil 27th June 2019 12:03 AM

The new song (from instagram) sounds pretty cool!

I loved the performance, she looked great and sounded beautifully. So far it's a good start for the new era. ♥

If you want to get the blazer that she's wearing https://www.pinko.com/en-it/clothing...B2Y5PQZ99.html

bargain :D

I like her look a lot, but Eh Yo leaves nothing for me... :(

Gustavopc 27th June 2019 12:09 PM

^ Unfortunately it's the same for me. The song isn't bad but it also isn't memorable to me... Maybe the beat was a bit faster, or we had a energy level from verses to chorus, but every part sounds like the previous one. Dreaming Now! had way more energy to it. But again, it isn't a bad song.

Hoping for a DH10 to remix it :P

Yes, maybe a change in the dynamic level would help...

Hey guys, random question - did the original Black Cherry tour have any hall venues at all? Somehow I was under the impression that it was a mix of halls and arenas with the Tokyo Dome final.

KODA KUMI LIVE TOUR 2007 ~Black Cherry~ venues were all Arenas with the final concert concluded at Tokyo Dome

Sun Dome Fukui & Nippon Gaishi Hall names are misleading as Sun Dome Fukui is not a Dome venue as its capacity is 10,000

Same with Nippon Gaishi Hall with it having the same capacity as Sun Dome Fukui

And back in 2007 , KODA KUMI LIVE TOUR 2007 ~Black Cherry~ SPECIAL FINAL in TOKYO DOME tickets were sold at 7,777 Yen per ticket

The reason why 7,777 Yen is because back then it was Kuu's 1st Dome concert and it was also to celebrate her 7th anniversary in the business

Nope, only arenas.
Some arenas have "hall" in their name, but aren't halls, so maybe that's why you got it mixed up.
Her Live Tour 2006-2007 ~Best second session~ was only halls, but ended in February 2007, only about 7 months before Black Cherry Tour started, so maybe that, too.

Quickly checked the dates in her FC magazine:
Spoiler:

September 28/29- Kobe World Memorial Hall
October 6/7 - Saitama Super Arena
October 13/14 - Sun Dome Fukui
October 20/21 - Hiroshima Green Arena
October 27/28 - Nippon Gaishi Hall
November 3/4 - Shizuoka Ecopa Arena
November 10/11 - Marine Messe Fukuoka
November 17/18 - Makomanai Ice Arena

December 1 - Special Final in Tokyo Dome

And you're lucky, they opened up the second Koda Gumi lottery for the international FC today, too!
You can try your luck again for the two left Osaka dates if you have to, it's open till July 5.
They've only made the announcement today.

OH. MY. GOD. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THE NEWS CORVINA! Now I feel bad for bothering my friend to help me out :laugh But at least I've got another option! I honestly don't have high hopes for this public draw - which the results will be out in a few hours btw!

That's probably it! I think waaay back when I first got the DVD in 2008 or so and I watched the bonus disc 2 contents, they showed some performances in those arenas with Hall in their names so I think that impression stuck. And then I was thinking that you know, if she did Black Cherry tour in halls then, it shouldn't be all that hard to recreate and then elevate that.

Can you imagine if they charged the tickets now at 1,919 or 2,020yen? :laugh

KarenPang 29th June 2019 04:56 AM

Some concert venues' names are very misleading indeed

Same thing goes for MetLife Dome & Seibu Dome , they're not considered as the 5 major Domes in Japan but rather their capacity is like Arena sized

Likewise for Kobe World Memorial Hall which KODA KUMI LIVE TOUR 2007 ~Black Cherry~ kicked off back in 2007 , it ain't a hall but an Arena

I don't know why Japanese likes to make things confusing at times but ah well x)

Haha you never know that might apply in a future Kuu tour after she finished re(LIVE) ? x)

jiarongisme 29th June 2019 07:26 AM

I JUST WON A GENERAL PUBLIC TICKET FOR THE DATE I APPLIED FOR Y'ALL!!

KarenPang 29th June 2019 09:04 AM

Congrats Jia Rong , so pleased your prayers have been answered

To you & others who will attend re(LIVE) in Sept , hope you all will enjoy the tour tremendously

Corvina 29th June 2019 09:21 AM

Congrats, jiarongisme! :)

Lawson is having another pre-sale lottery in July. They're having promotional flyers in their stores.

Guess they always print those so early, reacting to sold out dates is not possible.
General sale for everything that's left starts August 3, it's mentioned on the flyer as well.

jiarongisme 29th June 2019 10:35 AM

Thanks Karen and Corvina! Now I just gotta figure out how to get a ticket for a Black Cherry show...

Corvina 29th June 2019 12:37 PM

Kuu and her team started rehearsals yesterday.
They tag her exercising "a new challenge" today and also put it in the posts about her practicing something with her male dancers (upper left pic).
