I guess I understand that, but only when SOME artists do it.

Ayaka, for example, is 'popular' you can say, but her single sales suck. Like her last album sold 600,000 copies but her singles barely crack 50,000 so I don't get it when she releases double a-sided singles and then doesn't even bother to make a video for both songs! They're *supposed* to promote both songs because they're, assumingly, supposed to both be profitable... So why just not make it a normal single and make the second a b-side? I don't know if I'm making any sense. :P

Back to Ayu... she didn't even do one PV for }{ and that was the highest selling single of the year so I guess it varies..

And it'd be then I think i'd rip my ears out. Im not the biggest fan of fated. Thats quite an understatement though.

I'm still not impressed. Maybe I do need the full HQ song before I can judge it xD I will say the chorus sounds like independent, but at least her vocals don't suck in it.

I'm not saying it's illegal. I'm just sick of people who constantly ***** about everything that Ayumi does and bring it up every chance they get.

You can't expect everyone to just start loving everything Ayumi is throwing out. Ayu is gonna be throwing out some bland things that people won't like. If you disagree with an opinion I suggest you keep your comments to yourself.

Well im sorry but I do love Ayu but as of late shes been getting worse in my opinion. You just have to respect other peoples opinions because we're all allowed one

Though I'm curious in a certain thing.
What would ayu has to do for example in order for you to like a song (like Sunrise)?
Sometimes it appears like a too-picky situation like if ayu should do a song in certain lines and if the song will have 2 secondso of something different in a small part of it from what one would like to hear from it so you wouldn't like it or it's just what you didn't want so you will dislike it.
Is Sunrise is really that bad that ayu is going that worse?

We generally should be happy that it's not "another" fairyland/BLUE BIRD/glitter (unless if personally you loved those songs and you wanted something like them).
But it's not enough as it seems.
Everything with full respect of course.

Oh no im happy its not a stereotypical song like that. Its just I like my music harder. Rule/Sparkle was a perfect single [Apart from the covers]. Both title tracks were amazing. But then NEXT LEVEL came and it was just horrid. I only liked two of the album tracks really and one of them is pretty forgettable. This song just sounds like an extra track from NEXT LEVEL and as I hated that direction, I really dont like this track. I just want her to have a break so she can get back to writing truely great music, like in her 2004/2005 period.

I completely agree with you, ayumisrael. People are always complaining about getting the same old stuff, but then when she goes in a new direction they're complaining it's too different, not her style, rushed, awful, etc. Some people are never happy it seems.

But I, too, am interested to what 2ch are saying.

But the problem you have is not with the lyrics. XD
That's the thing. She doesn't compose and arranged all of the songs since 2005 besides co-composing Will.
And for Sunrise she even used a new fresh composer.
Though probably your problem with most of the songs are the arrangements.
I guess you are not into some of the arrangers she uses but I don't think a break would help it.
Even in fast release pace she can change composers and arrangers (and make harder rock or MY STORY-ish music). Though I myself have no problem with CMJK I love his style very much and the whole NEXT LEVEL direction I'm so into those new shticks (and Sunrise is totally kicking all of ayu's summer songs asses besides July 1st (for now) for me).
