They can't just quit SM unless they can cough up a huge amount of money. They're under SM for 13 years.

There's a lot on offer for a Best album which is quite worrying considering a lot of artists release Best albums before ending their career, I hope it won't mean the end of Tohoshinki :(

but well, maybe ppl being set up their minds that best album always has a meaning of the end of one artist's career, maybe that term was used long long time ago.. but seeing most of avex trax's artists, they release best album, but none of their artists are retiring/disbanding, right? (maybe some artists, but the majority of them are not)
and Tohoshinki has been in the Japanese music industry for 4-5 years, so i guess it's ok to release a best album~
Ayu also released her 1st best album on 2001, since she started her debut from 1998, it's even only 3 years gap~, am i right?

Best albums are common in Japan. Avex mentioned they had planned this album since January of 2009 so this isn't something that came out of the blue. The timing is a bit sensitive so I can understand why fans are worried. I wanna know how much the best is going to sell.
