Hey all! Is it true you have 30 days to pay for your membership once it's been approved? Thanks.

Having some issues with initial sign ups... what exactly do we put on "address line 2"?

As I use my Tenso address for TA (even though I technically don't need to), I put my Tenso number in address line 1 and the Tenso address itself in adress line 2. I suppose the second line is mostly there in case your adress is "c/o" or something similar (but I don't know why they made it obligatory to fill it in), if you're using an actual home address you could just put in an apartment number, floor number, or other type of information that's part of your address (or at least wouldn't confuse a postman about your actual address).

I just have put a "-" into 2nd address line xD I just have no use for that 2nd line o.o my address is not that long xD

Are birthday wishes legit? Got one today signed by "ayu". I bet it's just generated, or maybe....?

rainbow_smile 1st March 2015 12:50 PM

I wonder if she decided to stop translating the blog entries again? Because they haven't posted translations for the last two yet.

Even though it's generated, it's still pleasant, right? I was happy when I received mine.

I wrote to TeamAyu staff to kindly remind about translations. I suggest you doing the same so that their translators wake up:-)

I did the same. I kindly told them I felt a bit "cheated" :( Well I hope I did it properly, as the "letter" section isn't translated :rolleyes

rainbow_smile 3rd March 2015 10:11 AM

I wrote to them yesterday :D

Yay, the last entry got translated. But the previous two are still not, so I guess we shouldn't expect them.

Yoake 3rd March 2015 07:14 PM

I thought that it was Ayu who wrote both entries (the japanese one and the english one) and not her staff who translated them? :yconfused

It's very, very unlikely that she writes English versions. I'm personally sure it's done by translator.

Has anyone tried writing to TeamAyu regarding the fact that they stopped translating diary entries? I wrote, but I haven't got any response.

tenshi no hane 14th June 2015 02:20 PM

^ I think she did translate them herself. The username is 'ayu' in both cases. When her staff posts a message, the username is STAFF.

I wrote her few days ago. Maybe messages too private and ayu don't want to translate them to overseas fans. Or maybe she's lazy to translate so much text)

I have to disagree :) Why would she waste time translating herself? Her English is not that good anyway. It's staff's job to do. When the message is signed Miccie, we don't think that he translated it himself, right?

Thank you. I hope they remember that they promised English translations.

Pieces_of_SEVEN 14th June 2015 06:03 PM

I'll email TA also. But I do think it's possible (although unlikely) that she write the english text herself. The grammar is almost perfect if I recall correctly. I do think ayu's english is pretty damn good, but yeah.

Feels so exciting to be a member of TeamAyu and freely browse the site now!

monochrome99 8th July 2015 01:07 AM

Does anyone know what happened with the physical TA magazines that were supposed to be purchasable through TA store? I know they stopped mailing them, and that they have become digitalized, but I also remember reading something about how some volumes will be on the TA shop.

se7entheaven 8th July 2015 03:16 AM

I still think Koda Gumi International is better than TA, Posts are in English and even the videos have subs. Ayu's site is basically selective, and it's hardly updated except for occasional LIFE update.

FYI, as far as updates go, that is the bulk of what it's been like for years if not from the very beginning. I think for the most part, people join for the ticket benefits and being able to purchase exclusive versions of items when they come out.
