At first I thought Out of Control sounded so much like call and letter, but I really love Out of Control a lot! I never really got into call and letter.

A ONE is still amazing for me :) The Shown Must Go On is like a song that starts off my day soooo well and Out of control is still perfection. Story still feels genuine and nostalgic. I stopped playing The GIFT once the album came out hahaha! WARNING is still ahmazingggggggg <3

Pieces_of_SEVEN 12th May 2015 01:37 PM

WARNING is so bad ass. I think it might be her most fierce rock track yet.

Surreal17 12th May 2015 02:23 PM

One month after its release and it still feels fresh. Same with Zutto../ Last minute/ Walk single.

Aderianu 12th May 2015 02:30 PM

I tired from Zutto, but started to love Walk. Maybe one day I'll love Story =)

My only wish is that WARNING's mix de-emphasized the synth and emphasized the guitar... That's a personal preference though lol. The mix is still slick, and i'm sure the heavier synth is exactly what Ayu & tasuku were going for.

To me it makes it seem less natural, honest, and rockish & more manufactured, plastic, and poppy than it seems to want to be. But like... that's the sort of musical trope I grew up around. In my mind (and I can't really help it), real instruments = rock = honest = art, synth instruments = pop = fairy tales = product. That's obviously not true 100% of the time, nor was it even when I was younger, but it's a general thing... Synthesizers have become an aural cue for "dance pop made by producers" and guitars are an aural cue for "honest singer-songwriter."

Why the CM is so cheesy...ughh...

pepper 12th May 2015 07:33 PM

besides Zutto, I dont remember any melody of the A ONE ballad. Maybe a lil of Out of control.

I feel the same. I can barely remember what Call or Letter sound like, but Out of Control (esp the guitars) stick in my head.

Delirium-Zer0 12th May 2015 09:57 PM

And I'm the opposite lol... I remember a good chunk of A ONE but "Out of Control" eludes me at the moment... "call" and "Letter" I remember really well though, but then I've listened to PQ just so freaking much over the last few years O_O

NintendoHTF1242 13th May 2015 03:43 AM

I don't hear call or Letter in Out of control, but then again; Out of control is one of my least favorite tracks.

I cant say I dislike any songs. I may skip some but that usually because I don't listen to so many ballads in that long of a stretch. But over all I think this is a very good album to listen too. But I like different songs more when I'm in different moods. Though The GIFT is the least listened too. I don't hate it. But it could be one of those songs I like more when I see it sang live

Anything for You is my fave song from A ONE :love it's the longest track on the album but it's so smooth it's over before you even notice, it feels a lot shorter that NO FUTURE, Out of control and Story to me!

and i have grown to like Walk a lot as well!

for people saying TSMGO is a snowy kiss 2, i really can't hear it :no i has some similar parts but when i listen to it, i don't even think about snowy kiss

maybe i'm deaf or something :rolleyes

Walk has grown on me as well and it's probably my fav song from the album :O
I'm just a suck for these kinds of midtempos from ayu.

TSMGO does not fit that CM. I hate to say it, but Zutto... would have fit the atmosphere better. Not enough action going on to warrant such an upbeat track as TSMGO.

Not Anything for You? Not Walk? I can't get those songs out of my head most days. I love to listen to them back to back.

Just a question is "Samantha Thavasa" a celebrity/person, or is it just a brand. I'm just trying to figure out how big a deal this is, plus I saw the video of the model in the CM saying thank you, so I'm wondering if she's Samantha. I know nothing about fashion, and with Japanese fashion I'm completely clueless so I apologize if this is a dumb question
