I thought November was a cute lil track. It sounds like the winter time so it's really nice to listen to during Canada's 6 months of winter.

November is least memorable track of Love songs to me, tied with Sweet Season... I'll skip them when they come on shuffle, but will go through them when listening to the whole album, and I don't think I ever played them intentionaly :P

Totally agree with sweet season being very forgetful. I personally consider it the worst track in the album. Love November though :)

I just listened to Sweet Season in the car on the way to work. I was so excited because it's getting to be the "Season of Love songs" as far as the perfect album to listen to during this time of year (transitionary autumn), and it fit the atmosphere perfectly. It's funny because I loathed every song on the L single when they were released, but over time (well, largely due in part to an 8 hour road-trip where I played Sweet season and Last angle a lot during the end of September) I grew to love it. It's very "sweetly/reminiscently reflecting-on-the-past nostalgic," whereas Seasons is "bittersweet/missing-the-past nostalgic". I actually think it's a quality track, but definitely takes time to warm up to. It's very unique amongst her discography, but still very-Ayu.

Sweet season = "Ah, yeah - those days (insert blushing emoji with eyebrows raised)"
Seasons = "Those days... (insert nonblushing emoji, eyes closed, eyebrows raise upward)"

I must be in the extreme extreme minority who thinks that Sweet Season is the best song off L and one of the stronger tracks on Love Songs. Lol.

Miduhyo 27th August 2015 04:38 AM

I have a love/hate relationship with Sweet Season. Like, it's definitely a good song but it's not one I listen to every time it comes on. Sometimes it pops up on random and I'm like "Aw, such a sweet song. I'll listen to it." and then other times it pops up and I'm just like "uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuugh. F*** this song." I guess it's something I really have to be in the mood for. Though I definitely agree Sweet Season/Most of Love songs itself is the perfect autumn album.

YES! I knew it would be LOVE 'n' HATE. That must be a VH1 show. LOL I've also heard it once or twice on Love & Hip Hop Atlanta. It makes no sense! How are they allowed to use that?!

Delicious n Bold 27th August 2015 07:18 AM

Maybe it's not a unique composition
Like all those interludes

I somehow just discovered discogs.com and realized that they sell vinyls. Such great prices! I just ordered eleven vinyls for just under $100. Some I've never even seen on eBay before! I'm pleased. I got all these:

Mostly German Vinyl Release on your list^^
And yes they throw it at you here in Germany xD The CDs are harder to find these days, so glad I bought them all when they were released^^
The only thing that bugs me as I collect her CMs is that I wasn´t able to record that Connected CM on German TV ><

tsumekaze_ 27th August 2015 02:21 PM

OMG i had no idea the single versions were different from the album ones. and too late IS better in the single version. OMG OMG I'M HYPERVENTILATING. How could I not know this?! I thought I knew EVERYTHING about ayu. There's still something to discover after all these years. That's why I love being her fan!

LONJJONG 27th August 2015 02:53 PM

^ I can relate to that so much! I didn't know CREA was ayu herself until like hmmm 4 or 5 years after I became her fan? And I was sooo freaking amazed. I also like the fact that she has variation of songs and many more details of her which makes it very interesting to find it out everytime! ;)

I just listen to MY STORY Classical, and I'm still amazed by the quality of the production, the quality of the classical compositions....
It's a shame that the new "classical" albums can't reach that level of perfection even by 1 inch....

murasakinohana 27th August 2015 03:08 PM

Whatever happened to Stan?

oaristos 27th August 2015 07:47 PM

They changed the theme for Ayu's page on Apple Music. It used to be based on the cover art of Step by step.

It's probably because I can't remember the last time I listened to Love N Hate but it doesn't sound quite like the original to me. It sounds like an original demo or something -it sounds slower and the beat sounds slightly different.

RealLight 27th August 2015 09:23 PM

@Pieces_of_SEVEN it's from E! :D
