The fact that both Ue Wo Muite Arukou & Ultra Music Power [new-rec] are made available digitally only for sale in Taiwan , it means something

And this's also another big deal as none of Johnnys' material can be purchased online

Both Ue Wo Muite Arukou & Ultra Music Power [new-rec] are pretty good . The newly recorded version of their debut single is more grown up & less kiddy sounding

I know 2 Taiwanese folks who have been living & working in Japan and next weekend both of them are flying back to watch both dates of Johnny’s presents Hey! Say! JUMP LIVE 2019 in Taipei

I'm curious to see how the setlist will be , I'll be surprised if they perform songs from PARADE as a prelude to their year end/new year Dome tour but we'll see

It's great that their are doing promotion efforts in other country

Brief snippets on what my friend wrote about Hey! Say! JUMP LIVE 2019 in Taipei Day 1

- HSJ sung some of their songs in Mandarin !

- The 1st MC the group did was entirely in Mandarin which for a Japanese that's not an easy thing to do especially when comes to pronunciation

Unlike Japanese where it's monotone , Mandarin has various ways of saying different words no thanks to Hanyu Pinyin

Example San

In Japanese - it means 1 meaning
In Mandarin - infinite meaning , it can mean 3 , Umbrella & etc in Mandarin context depending on how you pronounce it

- Chinen cajoled Yamada to say in Mandarin that Yamada is Chinen's wallet

Yamada responded back to Chinen in Mandarin , no he's not & instead he's Chinen's bank :roflmao :roflmao :roflmao

In this context it means Chinen is forever broke & is always lending $ from Yamada

I'm thankful to Kitagawa-san for creating HSJ but it seems like he limited them in many ways too

It's great to see them doing new things

Now that Tackey has taken on an even more senior role in J&A behind the scenes , I hope to see him give a bit more freedom & leeway for the Johnnys he now manage alongside with Julie K. & Mary

Another Taiwanese friend of mine said she was surprised HSJ arrived in Taipei earlier than expected

She said they probably did filming for their variety show(s) before Hey! Say! JUMP LIVE 2019 in Taipei begins this weekend which's true as there're photos & clips of them online visiting some tourist worthy attractions within Taipei

avex Taiwan on Tue uploaded a special PV that HSJ made which centred on their cover of Sakamoto Kyu's Ue Wo Muite Arukou

Even though living in Japan like my Taiwanese friends couldn't watch it (they were able to when they returned back to Taipei) , same thing with me :x

A total of 25 songs were performed . White Love was the last song in the setlist & HSJ sung it in Mandarin

And my friend was waiting at Haneda airport to catch a glimpse of HSJ . She didn't took the same flight as them , she took an earlier flight

HSJ will be performing at next month's ABU Song Festival
