Oh yeah even though the 1st thought that went into my head when the postman handled me the parcel was how heavy it was cos of the archive pamphlet's weight @_@

My friend received another namie amuro Final Space item on my behalf yesterday & I look forward to get it this coming week :)

Here's Part 1 of the 20th Anniversary special! :D

Finally started watching the Okinawa live. It's looking so gorgeous and I like that there are few "non-standard" songs on the setlist.

Probably the ONLY song she never performed live after BEST FICTION era is Beautiful.. her most beautiful song .-.

And thank you chocopocky and haraiso for the WoWoW special. She looks so precious :luv2

I still want that 10GB fanspace file they upload on jpopsuki but I can't find it anywhere else ;-;

Xianghua 17th October 2018 10:38 PM

In it's 7th week of sales, Yahoo reports FINALLY tour has sold 927,000 copies and is back at no.1 on the Oricon DVD ranking for the first time in 2 weeks. The last time a DVD returned to the charts at no.1 was Arashi's LIVE TOUR POPCORN in 2013.

Yes, thank you haraiso for part 1! Yes, Namie has done a really good job of performing original songs at least once live. There are a handful of songs from concentration 20-Style era that I don't think were ever performed (we'll probably never get to see that fanspace tour from 2002 or 3), plus some collaboration songs (genkai lovers) but overall she's managed to sing almost everything from her discography.

prussian blue 18th October 2018 05:55 PM

Did she ever perform Free from QoHP? That's one of my favorite song from her

Xianghua 18th October 2018 10:21 PM

hmm I don't think so! Too bad, aside from Space of Hip-Pop I think it would have fit in nicely with PLAY tour or LIVE STYLE 2006.

I really wish she would have done this Future Classic -type of show. Did she ever do anything like it? Can't say I've seen all of her tours but most of them seem to be album-related + hits

Best Fiction Tour, Live style 2006 and So crazy feat. Best Singles '03-'04 kind of fall into that category. Best Fiction is a best-of tour, but with no 90's songs. Live Style '06 was billed as a best-of plus random B-Sides. So Crazy Tour is also basically a Best-of tour. and pretty much all the Best-of songs she sang on these tours are still considered her 'Classics". Outside of those, her tours are specifically album related except the live style. Live style tours are usually non-album related, except for LS 2011 if I remember correctly.

jiarongisme 19th October 2018 02:22 AM

LS2014 was meant to be sort of a promo tour for Ballada. But yes, with the usual best-of theme.

AJFmzk 19th October 2018 12:37 PM

^ah yeah forgot about that one. LS 2011 was for Checkmate! And LS2014 was for Ballada

I looked up Live Style '06, setlist looks very interesting! I'm also a big fan of Best Fiction -tour but would consider it to be a FC-type tour myself. And So Crazy Tour is filled with my 90s babies :luv2 Thank you for sharing <3

Edit: btw, does anyone know why she calls her tours "live style"..? To see her style... but live?

Namie was spotted vacationing in London! Seems like so many celebrities have been going there recently :laugh
She's apparently cut her hair, and now has a chin-length bob cut! Hope she's having a great time! :)

Other Namie-related news:
  • "Dear Diary" is now certified GOLD for 100,000+ downloads
  • As of this week, "Finally" is now the #1 top selling album of the year (again) with 616,991 copies sold. :banana2
  • At a FENDI fashion event, Jolin Tsai talked about how Namie was a singer she always respected and aspired to be like. She thinks it's important for herself and others to learn to follow Namie's humble attitude. (https://www.recordchina.co.jp/b654002-s0-c70-d0044.html)
  • Namie was chosen as the #3 most beautiful celebrity mother by women aged 30-49 for her powerful performances, athletic figure, unchanging beauty, and a face that is as cute as a young girl's. (https://headlines.yahoo.co.jp/articl...2228-jspa-life)

Xianghua 20th October 2018 03:00 PM

Music Station also did a 2 hour special ranking singers from the 47 prefectures. Can you guess which singer from what prefecture came in at number 1? :laugh

thinkingoutloud89 20th October 2018 05:51 PM

No problem, happy to help. :) Live Style '06 is great. There are a few songs I'm not a big fan of, but overall it's a great watch and some good B-sides like strobe, exist for you and 人魚 (mermaid). There's a fanspace special video with a few extra songs not on the main DVD like Can You Celebrate and Go Go! Feel free to Pm me if you want it. And yeah, I have no idea where Live Style came from, I think it started in '06 when there was no album to promote but she did a tour anyway.

SWEET 19 BLUES was featured in 1 of the games during Thurs's VS ARASHI

https://www.facebook.com/TormentaEst...7740194644380/

4 songs were mashed up & played together at the same time and ARASHI + the opponent team had to guess the songs within the 'noise'

I really like the setlist of Live Style 2006 but her looks... oh those looks are horrible hahaha
I would save the black/pink mini-dress and the red one, the rest.. well, for a tour called live STYLE, her style was her worst ever.. :P
But I'm all there for STROBE :luv2 :luv2
