I don't think Eh Yo is a bad song, it's just not what I was expecting. I was hoping for something more upbeat like Dreaming Now!, or a more empowering song like Hero from Namie. When people said that the song had drums, I thought about Bang! from AS... haha. The second part of the song is better than the first, but still kinda goes nowhere. Right now I'm more interested in Put Your Hands Up (TBA lol), it sounded very electronic and cutesy at the same time, it reminds me of Love Technique a little bit. |

I like this scene from last Wed's Tere to Ongakusai 2019 where so many lights lighted up behind Kuu Kuu looks great in both Ai no Uta & Eh Yo but for Eh Yo , I don't know what to think about the song yet although weirdly the opening reminds me of ARASHI's BRAVE , x) |
Kuu's manager (her name is Takana btw.) shared a video from Kuu getting ready for the talkshow in Okinawa.
Apparently Kuu is thinking about changing her hair again and said that she really wants to ask her fans about it. Thanks to WKKW for saving everything, so here they are again. In the first one she put a filter over it I assume. Probably cause it's the chorus? In both stories she wrote "put your hands up" in Japanese, which is why I assume it's the title. I guess she's also singing it in the snippet of the first story. To me it sounds like a mix of Love Technique and Whatchu Waitin' On?. To sum it up a bit, we already have 5 new original songs we have confirmation for in some form: - the electronic song produced by the same producers as XXX/SHOW ME YOUR HOLLA/IS THIS TRAP? (might be the song she previewed in the Instagram post here while shooting last week) - a very sad and very happy song she recorded together on one day (Put Your Hands Up probably is the happy song) - the song with the candy store lyrics she recorded here - Eh Yo for the Rugby World Cup |
That song also made me think of Love Technique! If it has a cool rap just like I'll be sold :P
I've been dreaming of a cool dancey collab with another female singer for so long, I hope there's one coming. |
Kuu is shooting something today!
She had to get up early, 5 am, and it's going to be a long day. Her dancers are there as well. She's wearing Versace and said she's singing in a changing set today. PV? Or TV performance? In the new FC magazine they now show previously unreleased (backstage) pictures from her career and started a new section with her manager Takana (sorry, noticed too late that my phone auto-corrected her name to Tanaka in my other post). You can currently send in suggestions what you wanna see or hear from Kuu backstage in that section at her Japanese FC. The photos of fans they included are sadly only two pages and the photos I sent in weren't used. *sniff* But they say there were a lot of participants (for the survey above, too) and thanking the whole FC. They also share the names of her new dancers in the USJ live report - they're called Shanita, Akane, Yasuha and Haruka. |

It is a PV, but not sure for what song (Kuu revealed Taka was in the PARTY PV as well). They're talking about Eh Yo in the stories, cause it just was officially released. But the set looks really nice indeed.
