I just rediscovered Far away too. Was listening to it in the afternoon quite a lot.

I like how the first lines go. :love

alternarist 8th May 2006 01:21 PM

^ haha. i liked Far away previously. but i stopped listening to it as i find it too draggy in the long run..

TeamAyu 8th May 2006 10:57 PM

"Far away" is definitely a song that requires a couple listens to really get used to. It really grew on me though and now I really enjoy it, as opposed to skipping the track like I used to.

hopeorpain 9th May 2006 12:51 AM

The beginning melody is so mesmerizing to me :)

darkswordz 9th May 2006 12:30 PM

now, Duty is begining to grow on me =]

hopeorpain 10th May 2006 01:23 AM

Duty is not my favorite album (fav is RAINBOW) but it's definitly a well-rounded, non-filler type of album.

My favorite Ayu album is LOVEppears~! I love all the songs inside, and it's really cool!

:yes Yep me too it's my favorite next to RAINBOW. LOVEppears is very dark and typical Jpop~

Qt Mashi 13th May 2006 02:46 AM

i can't decide which is my fav album :( sometimes i like (m)u or sometimes rainbow or duty or loveppears, it's all about songs individually for me, all Ayu's album has good and bad songs :P

hopeorpain 13th May 2006 02:55 AM

^there should be one certain album that stands out the most for you, as in overal concept/feeling type of thing.

TeamAyu 13th May 2006 07:31 AM

"(miss)understood" is definitely my favorite. It's stood up better for me than "MY STORY", and my previous favorite "Memorial address".

I agree also :D although MY STORY had a lot of album tracks, a lot needed more work. (miss) understood is a very well-made album. memorial address is a short but catchy album, I rank it next to (miss)understood.

alternarist 15th May 2006 01:14 PM

why everybody hates MY STORY? is it that awful? but i thought the songs were good? look at how they were performed in Arena Tour 2005.

darkswordz 15th May 2006 02:51 PM

Actually I have a bond to MY STORY. I think it's a wonderful album but is even better live!

hopeorpain 15th May 2006 11:34 PM

MY STORY has a lot of "good" songs, but it lacks some songs that you can say are "excellent".

and Qt Mashi you should definitely check out asfxx--it's not her best but it's a cute/enjoyable album.

True but in my case I feel that that's the case because some songs outshine the whole album.

And I agree with you that A Song for XX in an enjoyable album.
