okura is busy with his drama (yasuko to kenji) and ryo's busy with his drama (ryusei no kizuna) and his upcoming single with NEWS, but i doubt that'd interfere with a new single release.

really? so how can ryo just be on tour, acting, and preparing with NEWS all at the same time? i'm surprised he does it all. :P

also, I have another question... how is ryo payed?, I mean he's in 2 bands is it the same amout as for instance another k8 member who's not in 2 bands at the same time? or is like 1 pay for all? and I'm guessing doramas he get something extra right?

hmmm, i don't really know how Johnny's are paid in general. but, what i do know is that the more solo activities they do, the higher they get. doramas, CMs, hosting TV shows, writing/composing music, etc. boosts up their paycheck. there's this rumor that Johnny's don't get paid that much, but to be honest, i don't think they're that poor as people think they are. (SMAP, Nagase Tomoya, and some other sempais get paid a lot!)

i think Ryo is probably getting a bit more $$$, especially since he's working double. and he's done a lot of CMs & other stuff by just being in those 2 groups alone. he's getting recognized a lot now, since playing Sosuke in "Last Friends" and has "Ryusei no Kizuna" in the fall, so he's piling on the workload and hopefully some money!

I see, but then who chooses who is in 2 bands at the same time? I mean, did he audition? or someone choose him? or why him? why not the others, and so that makes him a bit more "special" ? what about jealousy mmh... so many questions sorry >_<

Because with H!P it's more obvious that they choose them and create the units which don't last long, but at leas with johonny's bands (news and k8) they are like official bands and not units.

Ryo has been the only Johnny to my knowledge that has been in 2 groups. Uchi Hiroki was in NEWS/K8 too, but he got suspended and is now a Johnny's Junior (:weep).
i miss you, Uchi! but work hard!

it's all up to the boss, really. the Kitagawas pick who debuts, who goes into what group, who's getting a drama, etc. they pick whoever's best for what task! :) & yeah, they're not like H!P with temporary units. there's some special units like Shuuji to Akira where members from different groups interact, but it's usually for 1 single or something.

as for the jealousy issue, i don't think it's a problem. Ryo's in 2 groups and gets a lot of exposure, but i'm bet the others are really glad that they don't work that much! :laugh

haha I bet xD!, ryo IS such a hard workerm I've also notice he manages himself different from news to k8 where in news he's just like a "pretty boy" in a boyband and at k8 he's just himself and goes crazy! that's cool :P
