Ew, I wouldn't want a lock of her hair. Or even worse, her extensions. Funny that someone would covet something that she just cuts off and throws in the garbage.

And I have to agree with ExodusUK, NintendoHTF1242 and alternafan000, the prizes were made for Japanese fans as a bonus for buying the releases. The deadline gave them plenty of time. Being an overseas fan sucks in general. All the extra money paid on markup prices and shipping, but that's just how things are.

I wouldn't like to have a lock of her hair because there is 99% of chance that this isn't her real hair but just an extension.

I don't see why it's unappreciative. If someone expected something else would be a different story, but I agree it is unfair for the overseas fans for receiving their orders too late. Designed or not designed for the Japanese only, I thought the releases were meant to all her fans. Including the fans overseas. Have some sympathy. This really sucks for them.

But there's a reason why the lottery had to end on the end of the month. If not they wouldn't make it on time for the 8th april for the new song.(I assume that the lucky fan for the recording will be for the 15th anniversary song, Tell All) And that's why I choose ems for the last release, so that I could make it on time. But I understand that those living in US n europe might b charge more for yhe tax. So yea... it's expensive to be an ayu fan

I don't think AVEX would put a preview of the new song up somewhere if it's one of their prizes for buying the 5 releases lol it would be cheating.

The fan who wins the song-recording prize will be featured on a different song, not Tell All.

Is there a confirmation/info? Because I can only remember that they say it's a new song in 2013. And Tell All seems to be the right choice for fans to participate in.

Tell All is coming out on the 8th for the people who entered the draw right? So it would be impossible for the winners to participate in a new song if that song is released on the same day that they find out about it :thud

Yeah it sucks that some OS fans didn't get their stuff on time, but you really can't blame ayu/avex for that.

Over a song and wallpaper that will be shared online anyway? I wouldn't bug her with something so trivial.

Also, I know that avex acknowledges that Ayu has overseas fans, but they really focus prizes on the Japanese ones, her primary market. I remember when there was a prize of some sort to appear in one of her PVs (Sunrise?) and I remember avex explicitly asking those who do not live in Japan not to enter. Because they would likely be unable to attend, and therefore take the opportunity away from a Japanese fan who could make it to the shooting. Isn't everyone who enters their code for the song automatically entered to win all those other prizes? Then a similar issue to the PV shooting could arise, the foreign fan not being able to claim their prize due to their location, and taking it away from a Japanese fan. Perhaps the deadline was intentional, to stop as many foreign fans from applying as possible?

@Happiholic there's actually an option to opt out from the prizes that you don't want/ can't participate, eg participating in her song. And I believe the dateline of 1 mth is long enough for any oversea fan. Just do a speed post and the item will arrive in less then a week :)
