I hope this album will be as colorful and funny as the covers. PLASTIC and 6 FORCE didn't really impress and I still haven't really been able to get into Aira's music though God knows I've tried. Here's hoping for the best!

^ Umm I'm kind of going to have to agree. PLASTIC and 6 FORCE really weren't all that great....COPY and some of the singles following it were really catchy, but her music has been kind of bland this last year.

Sorry to double post but my opinion hasn't changed about Aira's music this year. This album only had a couple of good songs...most of them just sounded really random to me :shrug.

This bitch has a new album out, entitled "I'LL BE BACK". I found it in the top recommendations section on JpopSuki. And, it's her best album ever. Honestly, I haven't skipped a single song, and usually Aira has a few gems and then some off-the-wall crap thrown in there. But, this album is very UPLIFTING! It's fantastic. Exactly what I have been craving and what has been missing in my world of Jpop - Hell, it's what has been missing from MY LIFE!

I read that this album is her "sayonara" as she is going on hiatus. It's too bad that it seems she has finally reached her potential with this album and is leaving it all behind for the time being. I highly recommend you guys check it out. Perfume has been a steaming pile of dog shit lately and this has filled my electro-jpop void.

So it's been a while but Aira has finally returned to music with a new song "LIGHTSAVER" and it's announced to be released as a single soon!

Glad to see she's back. Aira was one of my favorite acts back when she first debuted. I stopped following her after PLASTIC though. I'll have to give I'LL BE BACK a try.

Yep, I'll be checking it out, too. I still listen to Romantic Rope and China Discotica all the time.

So Aira is releasing two physical singles on 10/24 & 11/7 the first is "LIGHTSAVER" which has an additional track, F.F.C.

The other is titled "Animo!"

So to bring this thread back in, Aira released two more digital singles in 2016 "Days" & "Detective A"

More importantly, she announced that on 11/11 she'll release a new album, "Pyrimidal"

I'm looking forward to her releasing a new album. I haven't been keeping up with her post-hiatus singles so I kinda hope they'll be included.
