it is funny nobody talks about RED Line anymore.

love in music 8th November 2009 04:36 AM

^ well we got lyrics to BALLAD and You were... but not RED LINE. if we did we'd be talking about that :yes

i hope we don't have to wait too long for previews of the songs

GRACE 8th November 2009 04:46 AM

if she already flimed a PV, then at least a song has to be done. Because they can't film without the song for her to sing/mouth a long too. So I'd assume that sometime this week, whatever song is done will leak. Maybe the PV will get an airdate soon, but doubtful

Suteisi 8th November 2009 05:11 AM

I don't think it usually takes them more than 2 or 3 days to record a song... from what she's written in her past TA messages anyway...

GRACE 8th November 2009 05:34 AM

^Right, what takes a long time is the mastering process and stuff, which is what I mean

brener 8th November 2009 05:35 AM

what I most want now is the covers

yuki_unmei 8th November 2009 05:57 AM

^ me too. i have faith in the songs already from the lyrics
now just to see those covers:meditate

I thought it took Ayu only a few hours to record songs? Haha. That's what she said when she recorded "momentum", but that was three years ago. lol.

When are PV airing announcements usually made? I want to say the her recent announcements of any PV airings have been made right before they air... at least, that's when they popped up on AHS, anyway. Hah.

Tony G 8th November 2009 06:29 AM

She records some songs fast, others slow. NEXT LEVEL was recorded over a couple of weeks, but her other albums have probably taken longer. Remember, she already has the compositions. Its a matter of her lyrics being applied to the music, and then arranged. So it can take a long time, or no time at all. Depends how fast ayu writes her lyrics and records/arranges.

She's probably done the recordings by now if she's making PVs...

And I'm hoping for an electro-tinged ballad, to kinda carry on with the sound of NEXT LEVEL and Sunrise. I don't want another Days or typical winter ballad. She's done it. Curtain call was great because it was different for her to make a 3:30-length ballad that kinda builds up, explodes and then ends. I want something like that again.

truehappiness 8th November 2009 06:29 AM

She probably had to do RED LINE recently. The other two were in the process of being recorded when she decided on adding that song to the single.

PV announcements generally come a day or two before the PV is to air. It's kind of random how/when they come about, so it's kind of hard to predict.

I'm thinking of time spent in the studio, hah. That's usually just a couple of hours (with the exception of a few songs, like "momentum"). Well... sometimes she has the composition. I think with "Sparkle", she had the lyrics ready, but they were deciding between which composition / arrangement to use. Same with "M" and other "I am..." songs, if I remember correctly.

I doubt she'll give away the RED LINE lyrics. I bet this'll be a big "THANK YOU!!" song... I wonder if it'll be the new "Who..." / "MY ALL" (as far as concert enders go).

truehappiness 8th November 2009 07:20 AM

I wonder if it'll be a ballad to go with the other songs? It'd be kind of nice if it wasn't so that it wouldn't be so ballad heavy, but I think I'm okay with her having three ballads since this is probably more ballads than her last two albums had combined, haha.

ayuky 8th November 2009 07:22 AM

I am so excited for this single

I kind of have the feeling that it'll be a ballad single like GREEN/Days was. Or maybe Red Line will be a soft pop song like NEXT LEVEL or MY ALL. I might be wrong but that's my hunch.

rusuke 8th November 2009 08:34 AM

I also think that Days was her last good ballad as far.

But I hope she'll return to her classic ballads...

ownsarai 8th November 2009 09:45 AM

I'm hoping that RED LINE will be something along the lines of MY ALL. That would be nice. Something touching, but not too slow.

Tony G 8th November 2009 10:30 AM

I don't want any winter bells. NO BELLS. >_<

Songs don't have to be created for seasons. I'm hoping its something you can listen to anytime of the year.

love in music 8th November 2009 10:40 AM

^ yes! i hope that too. although i don't really mind winter songs either.. but it feels odd listening to No way to say or Days any time other than the winter season (so i go for the acoustic/orchestra versions when it isn't winter)

ren0210989 8th November 2009 12:12 PM

OMG i love the lyrics :luv2
these 2 songs are gonna be epic!

the single will probably have the concept of Ayu's lonelyness with you were... and BALLAD, and then Red Line will be how TA and her fans make her trough the day ^^
