SPYAIR to celebrate album launch with festival appearance in Europe

To celebrate the release the quartet will jet off to Paris for Tokyo Crazy Kawaii on Sunday September 22, where they will rock the main stage as well as meet fans and sign copies of MILLION ahead of its general release date.

With it's Japan release, MILLION went straight to number two on Oricon Weekly Album Chart. The album contains their top ten singles Sakura Mitsutsuki and Genjyou Destruction, which were used as theme songs to the Gintama anime series and the live action Warner Brothers film, respectively. JPU Records' physical release of the album will also include three of SPYAIR's most popular tracks that were previously unavailable in Europe. It also boasts an exclusive additional booklet containing all of the album's lyrics.

SPYAIR makes Paris crazy with European live debut while new album sells out

SPYAIR once again prove that they're one of the Japan's hottest new musical exports as the pop-rock quartet made the people of Paris go crazy with their European live debut in France's capital on September 21. The band, whose brand new album MILLION was released this week (September 22) across the UK and Europe, was invited to perform in Paris for Tokyo Crazy Kawaii, a new touring festival that showcases what's currently hot in Japan to the world.

All expectations were smashed as the packed crowd filling the open air stage at the Parc Floral venue rushed to grab a copy of SPYAIR's new CD, available at the event a day before release. All copies sold out within minutes of going on sale.

Entertainment from Japan has been gaining major success in Paris, where events such as Japan Expo have been reported to draw crowds in excess of 200,000.

SPYAIR's vocalist IKE comments, 'We came here to see the scene with our own eyes and see if it's true. Anime, manga and video games from Japan have already been accepted here, but music? I wasn't so sure… but wow, their acceptance of us blew me away! What an audience! What a country!"

Bass player MOMIKEN adds, 'This is just the first step. We hope to be back in Europe with our own headliner show next time!'

'MILLION' is out now across the UK and Europe through JPU Records. The physical release contains three exclusive bonus tracks and includes several of SPYAIR's songs from some of anime's biggest franchised (Bleach, Gundam, Gintama). It also features an additional booklet with all lyrics translated into English as well as Romaji.

oh yeah JUST ONE LIFE sounds much better in higher quality mode

and is it just me or I couldn't help but be amused that the beginning of the PV sees everyone all in sunglasses except for Momiken :laugh

The ending of the PV is so cool , I wonder how many fireworks their staff used :P

Poor of him, sunglasses aren't only for "cool guys", they really protect your eyes from the sun, and now his eyes are probably damaged, XD

I was honestly surprised when DAIGO retweet that from IKE as I never would have expect he knows IKE but the fact that I'm both fans of them (let alone IKE being super cute/hot xD) , this definitely make my day <3

Who knews maybe in future , a BREAKERZ x SPYAIR duet collaboration will surface ? I will so love for that idea to materialise should that ever happen :D
