If that's true we'll get a ~57min album, that's still quite long :) Love Songs was 67 mins including the SEVEN DAYS WAR live version and her longest album.

I thought MY STORY was her longest running about at 70+ minutes? It's also her longest album track-wise with 17 tracks (13 of which were new). It's no surprise since she worked on MY STORY for the longest of all her albums, I think.

It was also, I think her most creative... This was after all the fighting with her label!

I'm sorry Love Songs didn't run 67 minutes, it ran around 74 minutes, as did MY STORY. It's her longest, roughly 10 seconds longer than MY STORY only though ;) I just added the runtimes together for those two :)

I didn't find MY STORY creative at all though. It had very formular songs, even if at that time they were relatively new to her(many formulars of MY STORY started on Memorial Address and I am... though).
The lyrics however were GREAT, even if the album was the most generic after her peak imo. Maybe tied with GUILTY and Secret for that position.

I think when I mean creative I mean more of control...
It was the first time I think she stated she was happy and no longer felt like she was a product that avex wanted her to be.
She had more control and what not...
Lyrics, yes, these are amazing.

MY STORY is one of my favorite Ayu eras. I love everything about that time. The album, the tour, her look, PVs. It makes me happy and tingly. I also feel this was with Rainbow, Memorial Address and (miss)understood <------ arguably her worst album title, though.

I'm pretty sure LOVEppears is her longest album by like 30 seconds, and I think that's without the silence between Who... and kanariya, but I can't remember to be sure.

My main gripe about 4 interlude/10 song albums isn't that there aren't enough new songs, but rather that:
1) 4 interludes is just too many for 10 songs. It means that the interludes take up about 1/3 of the whole album, which is kind of ridiculous.
2) It chops the album up, and since she hasn't really used her interludes for effective transition lately, ruins the flow and kills the momentum of the album.

I really hope that, if she so insists on naming an album Party Queen, she goes all out and makes it pure fun. No emotionless, generic ballads, no heavy rock drama. Just fun, please. :X

I think people are taking the album title too literally(not anyone posting on the last page or so specifically but...generally). It's Ayumi we're talking about. If the album has more than 3 mainly electronic tracks that will be a very unique in her discography. I still think the title may just be a "I went through a bad time lately(divorce), but let's continue looking forward and having fun!" thing. But we won't really know until the album is out of course. Rock 'n' Roll Circus was far more about the lyrical attitude of the songs and in some ways the arrangements than the songs actually being Rock as well.

About album lenghts: completely forgot about LOVEppears! Guess she has 3 super long albums then.

The more I learn about this album, the more I think it's going to be one of her worst. Hope I'll be damn wrong.

That's probably the worst attitude to have if you are hoping to be proven wrong, imo.

how can u tell by 2 songs that is less than standard 2singles for a new album? you got 2 songs and a tracklist that almost says nothing. (and a gorgeous hbya cover ;D)
