but really i'm not liking, tho i'm ready to be surprised by Ayu, proove me wrong, woman, do it!

The overwhelmingly negative responses people have had to anything Party queen related is so disheartening. I just recently joined AHS after being on AHN for two years and I never experienced the negativity that I've seen here over there. I'm sorry, but I am a fan of Ayu, not a critic or a casual observer. That's why I joined a fan forum. Yes, as fans, we can disagree about songs/styles/etc. but, at the end of the day, we're all still supposed to agree that we love Ayu. I don't get that feeling from reading recent posts of people saying how bad some of her stuff is and how she looks horrible in her recent ads and photo shoots. If you don't like Ayu or her music anymore, then why visit these topics and rage about it? Keep it to yourself so fans like me and others can maintain a positive attitude about her upcoming releases. :)

I don't have any particular bad/good feelings about Party Queen. I'm just curious and excited, mostly because the two songs we heard of are totally different from each other. So it would mean anything lol.

I don't know if I'll gonna love it :D but I like PQ and hbya so far, so there's still a high chance.

Well, I still go on AHN, haha! I definitely did not leave the site. It just frustrated me when there would only be, like, five posts a day and they wouldn't always be on topics I could comment on. I just wanted to belong to a fan forum that had more activity. That's all. :)

This is kinda ridiculous. The majority of us here are fans, we buy Ayu's stuff and some of us spend loads of cash just so we could go and see her live. That all doesn't mean we can't dislike something. The truth is the majority of her photo sessions during the past few years were pretty bad. Just because we dislike something that she has done doesn't mean we like her less. WTF? "Keep it to yourselves", last time I checked this isn't the land of sugar, spice and everything nice. I love Ayu, but she is far from perfect and there are so many things I'd do differently, but I don't get to choose what she'll do and that's alright. I don't mind, cuz in the end of the day sometimes you just have to adjust to an artist and their own ways. As I said disliking a couple of dumb pictures, performances or a pointless PV every now and then doesn't make anyone less of a fan ^^

It doesn't mean that you don't like her, but it can certainly appear that way.

And yeah, a lot of her photos were pretty bad for a while but I think they got better once Kazutaka, ND, and Leslie came into the picture in 2010/2011.

Be patient, haha. Is it just me or does it seem kind of like the album was announced MONTHS ago to some people but it was in fact less than a month since we got the information? I guess it feels like longer since we've known about the album since November, but that's what happens when you find out information in advance.

But you know that at least in my case that's far from the truth ^^ because we were both here for years. People shouldn't judge others based on a few posts they've read ^^

Anyways, yeah ND and Leslie did make things a bit better; it's not really as tragic as people make it seem though. Generally her album/single covers became less creative after Memorial address, with a few brilliant shots after that nothing really stands out like her older covers. As far as the magazine shoots go I don't think she can really influence their choice that much, so she can hardly be blamed.

You misunderstand, I totally understand disliking some of her songs, PVs, etc. but when people start calling her a drag queen and saying that her recent music is "God awful" and that her voice sounds "horrible" in HBYA, I feel upset. Yeah, there's some stuff she's put out where I've felt like, "This isn't the best." but I'm not going to cut it down and tell everyone "I'm not getting my hopes up for this album, 'cause all of her recent music has been so bad my ears are shot." :irked There's a distinction between disliking something and being downright mean about it. That's all I was trying to say.

I really don't think the new person was just talking about photoshoots and stuff... but an over whelming amount of fans have already dismissed this album and its not even out yet!

I can understand where the post is coming from... I am a big believer of everyone having their own opinion, but it is a little disheartening to come to a new form and see the way that so many people talk about someone that they say they love to listen to.

Well I'm thinking of adding the CD+DVD to my CD only order. I keep hoping that I wake up to covers. I'm ready for a fun album.

I might change my orders... lol... I don't mind the coasters and half-pint glasses, but I would like to see what they look like before I make my final choice!

I wonder if someone's gonna start a "New album 'Party Queen' no-info frustration thread" anytime soon..
